Jock Landale was fantastic. Patty is a liability tho. Patty in his prime Australia would have won by 60 points. McVeigh must and should be on the plane to the Olympics.
Patty is there for senior leadership. As long as he is put in as a role player off the bench, he will be great for us, same for Ingles. Those two bring a lot of experience despite their elite level decline. If Brian Goorjian gives them big minutes and expects 30 per game from Patty that would be an issue for sure. But I don't think coach nor Patty have that much of an ego for that to occur. Goorjian has done a great job since Tokyo Olympics and last world cup, to bring in these new guys like Giddey, Green, etc. They had to get their feet wet last world cup, its why we did so bad, but had to play them at some point. Patty was relied on too much, but it was part of a bigger plan.
Patty single handly won that bronze medal vs Slovenia, so whatever he play at this point of his career, HE SHOULD BE FIRST to go on Olympics. Anyway Australia is not that strong right now, no chance against France, Serbia, no chance for medal

@@黃智偉-x8v男生女生體能條件是差很多的，男生就算身高高，人家也可以用速度戰跟出色的身體對抗打爆你，但女生有個220直接吃天下（但u17其他中國女球員太弱了，還是被澳洲完爆，不過可以看出身高差在女籃比男籃還要無解）
澳洲籃球目前積分世界第3 不是假的 雖然很多在NBA是板凳球員 照樣有一定的水準 而且它們陣容剛好分配的很平均 有進攻得分手 控球前鋒 3D球員 側翼 等等搭配 真的就算其他世界強隊遇到也不能小看
中国男籃有在向国足看齊的味道...😅

Great thing about Aussie culture, none of these guys have egos. Every 2-4 years we keep producing high quality talent, and our domestic league is quite strong. One of the best outside the NBA. Also love how we have guys that can really drive and attack, we have lacked that for so many years. It's the reason we had so many 3-pointers in that game, the boomers can now really make defences collapse, and it forces them to react, which creates options.

Chinese basketball is falling behind. This team can be easily beaten by Japan, Philippines and Lebanon.
They sacked the coach that got them to improve and be more competitive just because fell short Olympics. Only 12 team going to Olympics and a lot of good basketball teams gonna miss it.

China basketball men team lack of skills, faint to dominate in Paint area, fail to shoot 3 - pinter outside the perimeter. They are not meant to be good in these sports consider their coaches are foreigner for the last 40 years. Useful Country.

弱队打强队都是这样, 之前几次中华台北队打中国队也是上半场有来有回落后不多，下半场一波打崩，最后输了40分。体力下降是一个相对的概念两方球员体力都在下降，只是弱队的球员体力下架之后，没办法继续匹配上对面的强度，动作变形，节奏也跟不上。这是需要持续高水平对抗来提升的，陈盈俊算是目前岛上最好的球员了，几年前打CBA常规赛表现还行，季后赛被山西几个壮汉轮流上强度，表现极差，暂停时脑子都是懵的，队友教练跟他说话他都不知道怎么回事。现在就没有这个现象了，被人轮了，也可以打得有板有眼。不是陈盈俊体力变好了，而是他长期对抗下，适应了强度

The Chinese Center spend too much time ball watching instead of boxing out his man. That's why the Aussies had so many second chances at the baskets. Also The perimeter defense is bad because they are playing a 2/3 zone .. and that's because they know they can't guard anyone one on one. On the plus side China's guard plays are at lease better then average. China needs Yao to start coaching their bigs to be anything besides a big stiff.
This is only the China youth team, Aussies definitely not at their best form for the incoming Olympic games. Watched the game live, Giddey and Patty either not treating it too serious or just not that good any more.

可惜，杜峰最后带队男篮是在疫情大爆发时候，全队 一半确诊，最后因此成绩不好下台。
