I own a 2005 Buick Park Avenue Ultra and she is PRISTINE: Pearl white w/light beige carriage top with a sunroof. My 21 year old son has owned Hellcats, Corvettes etc but I have such an affinity for these Buick’s from this era. Appreciate these videos for numerous reasons and I just mentioned one. As you drive down Main Street America or drive through any Walmart or Dollar General parking lot, you will see cars, trucks etc of this vintage that are nearly 20 years old and still running. The point is, the average American is about trying to keep what they have running well and on the road as opposed to having to replace their automobiles every 5 years. These videos help the average Joe (…or Sally) keep their 2 decade old vehicle running…to boot….if it has a 3800 motor like these Buicks…then you can expect to see at least 300k out of it…provided the body lasts!
The Park Avenue Ultra is one of my favorites. Happy you enjoy it. It was one of those luxury cars that is not ostentatious. It just fits in and is not to noticeable. That is what I like about Buicks. Great ride and one can travel almost incognito. I am enjoying your videos.
And could possibly cost you what your Buick is worth to pay someone to get rid of it for you. At least around where I live anyway. Maybe borrow JR's manlift and make a video of you cutting it down yourself.
This was really well shot and edited, I'm always impressed with how much work you put into your videos! You're literally a one man production crew. Keep up the good work on the Buick, it's looking seriously better every time we see it. Well. Apart from all the tree crap
I know nothing about Buick cars as we never got them here but it looks a really nice straight example and the underside looks in great shape and the elderly owner who bought it originally had really good taste as it looks lovely in night fire red and cream. You really did the right move picking the Buick as a Christmas present mate,
Still loving my 2002 Park Ave so glad RUclips showed this video in my feed when searching to replace the pump. Hope this fixes the wobble on acceleration.
I was delighted to find that my wife's 2004 Lesabre's air ride leveling system works perfectly. Every electric gadget functions- including the CD player. Because the trunk is cavernous, sometimes the rear would sag and the pump would try to compensate. I bought a pair of Monroe towing struts and the rear is now level, the ride is smooth, the pump rarely turns on and you can put a lot of weight in the trunk. Thanks 100% Jake for the tutorial!🤗🤓
Thanks for showing us how. I had a high mileage 90's Cadillac that needed a pump years ago, and the estimate was over $900. Instead of fixing it, I gave it away to someone who needed a car for around town use. Perfect for one person with limited driving needs. Now I know what to do to fix a GM air suspension.
I love to see you work on this old gal Don't stop believin' your modern lead sled is well worth your effort. Mine is older but I think was a little better maintained and probably driven a lot less. 1997 with 187,000 miles. My AC pump did die last year and since I am not able to change parts myself it becomes a $1200 repair instead of a $450 repair. Yes that means it is about $800 for labor yikes. I still love these Park Avenue Ultras .... gonna be a hot summer lol
Great job, Jake. The Buick just keeps getting better all the time. Just wish Buick had remembered that Electra, in which line Park Avenue was a trim level, was a 4 ventiport model. You might want to rethink taking the tree down. It is shading the house, which is likely worth 3 or 4 degrees of free air conditioning.
I must have missed a post…DUDE!!! Nice hairs cut. My compliments also on the video skills and choice of music is first rate, as per usual. I’m not a fan of the big American dad-car, but you’ve done a good job tending to it and sorting out all it’s issues. Now I have to go back and see what I missed. There’s got to be a hair cut in here somewhere.
I"m so glad you ended up with the Buick. I've really enjoyed watching you improve on and repair the things that needed to be done. Now with that said please get rid of that tree. I'll even donate money so that it stops pooping all over your cars.
We just inherited a 04 ultra. When driving it. Hitting bumps in the Rd the cars rear end will shift, jolt,to the right. Does that have anything to do with the air ride. I do know the air ride does not work. Watching your video.i do believe replacing the compressor. That will correct the shifting to right issue. What's y'all's take on it
Thought it was a sumac tree but without more info, consensus sounds like "tree of heaven" either way sucks its so big and looks to be on property line so that's always fun.
Tree of heaven. They are the worst, very invasive. They go hand in hand with the invasive spotted lanternfly. They smell horrible when you break the branches.
Yep, tree of heaven, AKA a ghetto palm. Really stubborn, nasty things. I've got one that keeps growing back in my front garden, you've really got to pull them out by the roots
@@11sfr Pour your used motor oil on the stump every time you change oil. Also pour your burning charcoal on the stump as soon as your food is cooked. You will eventually get rid of it.
Whatever the tree is, with wood prices being what they are right now, you might make some money on getting rid of it! Also nice to see one more thing fixed on the Buick, and a JR cameo!
The Park Avenue Ultra is looking incredible! It was weird to see a tall looking JR standing behind you, Jake, because he’s always the shortest one in the room! I can tell a short joke, because I’m in that club, too.
Nice dude, really useful video for me. Loving all the Buick progress. I should come to Kansas and race you with my stock clapped out 230k buick after you're done. You can see how much better it is. Happy to see some other stuff too dude. Hope the bikes are coming along.
Buicks and Olds have always been my fav grandpa Car Smooth Couch cruisers , lol.ive had a few ... Hey Jake dunno how you feel about meeting other tubers but im gonna be in town in July staying in Nickerson but will be down in Wichita a day or 2 as well , just and old car guy from Vegas i do Car Shows on my channel, will be helping a friend with his Cars and Coffee in Hutch on the 10th then rollin to DT Wichita for an eve at Automobile Show, id like to check out your rides meet up while im there let me know maybe at the warehouse
It almost reminds me of a mimosa tree and they will voluntarily grow anywhere they can, to include your gutters. I had to recently remove a Siberian elm because it was dropping sap at the rate of about a gallon an hour all over my yard and my cars. That being said, my neighbor has one of those trees and I'm constantly battling that myself
Ahhh... the smooth jazz sounds of 100PercentJake
I felt like I needed a cigarette after that song, which is weird because I don’t smoke.
It’s soooo much better then the hip hop crap on other videos. I found it therapeutic :)

I love this Buick project...and I'm not a Buick guy! Polish those exhaust tips though, please! Love your content man.
Looks great Jake. Love that Buick, the underside looks rust free and worth your effort in restoring it.
well looks, Ultra better now!

“Bring me the gold ratchet!” Always fun!
I love Gooooooollllllllld !!!!!!!!!!!
Jake it looks like a Black Locust tree. They are super invasive and hard to get rid of.
And could possibly cost you what your Buick is worth to pay someone to get rid of it for you. At least around where I live anyway. Maybe borrow JR's manlift and make a video of you cutting it down yourself.
Gallons of brush killer....

Love the Buick- should serve you well for years to come
Buick is looking really sharp!
Calm relaxing Jazzy music while watching some one suffer with exhaust. Kinda digging this
such a cool, under appreciated car. looks great and glad she found her way to you.
😎 thanks, keep her on the road!

Are you saying your wife has a lot of junk in her trunk? :-D

JR is awesome! All you guys supporting each other is nice to see. Way to go youtube mafia!
👍🏽
You've truly brought that car back to life.
Great job!
Parts swapping. My favorite type of mechanical work.
nice looking car when its clean, glad you saved this after the Christmas gifting
Sweet! Another episode of Watch Jake R Go!
Jake that Buick is an Absolute Unit and I LOVE IT.
I love how during the time lapse jake switches back to the silver ratchet, almost like jr told him to put it back lol
Excellent! This is turning into a real sweet ride! Thanks for working on it.
Theft of the golden ratchet!
Jake is now the king!
Jake and JR back in the saddle again. 100% as it should be! WOW, what a GREAT gift from Hoovie. 🎶It’s getting better all the time🎶 GREAT content👍
As a frequent tourist from the Uk i always try to get a buick hire car love them.
The Golden Ratchet!
Glad you're back to the Buick!
What an uplifting video! Got me really pumped up!
Cool! After I replaced the struts on my 2004 Park Avenue Ultra it rode better than my Cadillac.

Wow, we got to watch JR go!
The Park Avenue are your best videos!
Love the Chumbawamba reference!
Cheers bro, I appreciate you. The Buick is looking great. Hope you and the wife are well
JR has the most valuable commodity among car guys…..available lifts…..can get lots of help in exchange for lift time.
Loving the clandestine gold ratchet use and mood music in this one 😁
Good to see another job done on the Buick. Smart looking car.
i think it's great you're restoring this Buick to factory stock.
Clicked for the Buick, stayed for the intro! Pretty good...

Watch it, JR's got a shive!!!
Looks so much cooler riding high.
I’ve enjoyed this project. The colors inside and out are very similar to the ‘00 DTS I had a few years ago. That was a sweet car.
Damn Jake, the Buick is looking really really good!!! 👍👍
JR in the background playing with his floor scrubber 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
I love my Park Avenue, Its a 97 base that runs great with Dynaride and it rides like a cloud, no shimmy or shake even at 90MPH It just cruises.
Productions skills are getting better and better, always enjoyed the content and now it is a pretty slick watch.
I've had more fun watching you work on that 'free' Park Ave this year than I have with any other of the multitude car channels I'm subscribed to.
I"m so glad you ended up with the Buick. I've really enjoyed watching you improve on and repair the things that needed to be done. Now with that said please get rid of that tree. I'll even donate money so that it stops pooping all over your cars.
JR, like any good boy scout. Always prepared, has a knife in his pocket! Noice!
I gotta say your Buick looks freaking amazing.
Car is looking great Jake. Love the Ultra. TY.
THE GOOLLLLLD Ratchet! Great editing Jake.

do you know anywhere to get the side fender vent chrome replacements? Just got a 2005 park avenue from my great grandfather!
Which do you think is smoother- Town car or park ave air ride?
Nice work. I wouldve painted the bracket. Paint it black, put it back.
Thought it was a sumac tree but without more info, consensus sounds like "tree of heaven" either way sucks its so big and looks to be on property line so that's always fun.
Really relaxing Music‼️‼️

Great video, jazz and all.
What’s the make and model of the new air pump you installed?
Hey look it’s JR
Purple shorts. Nice

I was pretty sure I wouldn't like those rims but they are looking good, nice car.
glad you got the level air fixed!! sorry, but that poor Buick needs/deserves a high quality detail, from bumper to bumper
The car is almost day one showroom perfect.
Just bought a 2001 Park with 120k, Polo green RUST FREE. Ill keep her till i die!!! 2500$

78.9% jake has done it again
I'm curious to the total time it took from start to finished. I'm doing the same thing to my P.A.
Love that car!
Was that a reference to chumbawamba tubthumping?
Can you get aftermarket performance exhaust system??
Been watching your vids since you got the buick. Are the headaches and costs you ran into worth it since you are close to done I think?
That tree does give shade... must be able to cut it back without dropping it completely ?
You’ve got a sweet ride now that’s for sure !
COOL VIDEO
So how much $$$ did hoovies free Buick cost you?
the intro was hilarious.
Great car, ultra 😎 cool
I am genuinely Jonesing over this car.
Love that car
I like the Buick!
think the sun is bright now, just wait till that tree is gone!

Black (or Yellow) Locust tree...... filthy thing, drop seed pods too.
Rust free underneath worth the parts and time you put into it.
JAKE!! You have a Goodyear Assurance, please take a tire chalk and highlight "good" and "ass" and ride around on some good ass tire.
R32 in the background 🤩

Bout a grand to have that tree taken down...car wash five bucks
On the 93 park avenue the air pump is located in the engine compartment drivers side
Jake . You are 110% now .
