Her dad finds the money and forces her to marry the guy she was trying to the arranged marriage. On the wedding day, her dad’s enemy kidnaps her at the alter and doesn’t know that it was the girl who he bought her virginity until he throws her into the trunk. It was wild. The heroine and her sister are strong heroines.

So happy every morning I see a notification that u drop a video!! I think I may have mentioned this before but u really need to read Pam Godwin’s new frozen fate series. It is the darkest series I’ve ever read, to the point that I almost stopped reading it. But it is the wildest story I’ve read and I don’t want to say too much because it’s better if u go in blind. The female main character that gets abducted is a complete badass though, and although there is a Russian mafia tie, it really is more of a survival story. I literally will drop everything I’m doing when third book comes out. I think the first book is long but I read it on my kindle and the pages flew by because I couldn’t tear my eyes from it, while at the same time I didn’t want to look. I’ve never experienced that before with a series. The second book is even better in my opinion. I sat there when I was finished like what in the hell did I just read?!!

I suppose you should try Crescendo by Lana sky and Crescendo is by far the best mafia book I’ve ever read. She’s highly underrated and best mafia romance author. And all her other books are equally fantastic and mind blowing.

I wanted tell you if you read Abbi Glines you should start with the smoke series. I think the first of that series is Smokeshow. Slay and Slay King are from the series Georgia Smoke. All the books are under 300 pages. Although these are mafia, I don't know if they're as dark as you like. So, if you need a break between the very dark, check these out. I enjoyed them.
Also, the Alliance series isn't dark but they're just over-the-top good. Also, you should try The Toxic Paradise series by Marie Maravilla if you want badass females with action. In the first book Skeletons of Society, the FMC is in charge of the gun trade in the Mexican Cartel, and in the second book Syndicate of Sins the FMC is an Italian mafia in a why choose relationship with 3 mafia men. In their meet-cute, she actually hog-ties one of them lol.
One of my favourite mafia duet (that I see no one recommending?!) is Prince of Hearts + King of Soul by l.a.cotton. There are also other books in this series, its called the Verona Legacy series.
oh loorrdddd. way to add more to my never ending tbr. i binged read the "loan shark duet by charmaine paul ". you should definitely give it a shot. its so darrrkkk and it also has a side character with disability basically the fmc's brother . and personally that one touched my heart since i have a brother . but it is basically the fmc's dad owed money to the loan shark. and now dad is dead and now(i cant remember much , i read it years ago ). basically she decides to work under the mmc to earn money to repay the debt since her brother is in danger because of that . and mmc seduces her and etc etc. it is so so fun . do give it a try 🙂🙂

I binged Sam Mariano’s mafia series in January and literally couldn’t look away. I was obsessed and binged it all back to back 😮 Mateo is literally the WORST hero I’ve read yet and loved. There is no morally grey. He is black villain and has no shame. Truly the mind games he plays is unmatched
