and notifications? I have this watch and I will sell it because I can not make a minimum notice of notifications. I don't want it. Why didn't Casio put notifications on this model? They should have put notifications, at least one blink of the Bluetooth logo. Excellent review! Thank you
Hey I have a question, I can connect of a maximum of 10 minutes, but If i go running or something and i want to make a map after 10 minutes it wil stop because losing connection, do i have to connect every 10 minutes to make good map?

What would you say - is alarm loud enough to wake you up (is it better then on other G Shock ?)??

Hi, I believe the loudest alarm I heard so far is from the DW-9052 model. The rest is usable but not if you're in a deep deep sleep. There some model equipped with alarm that vibrates as well if thats your concern. Might helps better. The alarm will beep for ten seconds every 5 or 8 minutes until 30 minutes has passed if you turn the Snooze ON.

Very detailed tutorial. Very helpful at determining my GBA-800 authenticity (Luckily it is authentic!). I worry it might be fake because the dial spin so much when adjust time but glad to find it is normal. But holding light and C button to move dial out of place has some differences with mine. Mine stops at between 8-9 rather than between 9-10. Why?

About the hands, it'll decide on its own where to stop without moving too much from its original position.
Depending on what time of the day, it'll stop at different position that didn't block your view. Try it and play around with it sometimes and see how it goes.
@@gshockhighfashion Yea, I noticed that too. So smart though. So if I can connect bluetooth between this watch and phone means it is absolutely authentic right? This is my second watch in my life and my first G-Shock. Didn't even know what is G-Shock before this. Now that I learn more about their history, started to appreciate the engineering goes into the watch and started to appreciate the look of the classic G-Shock. Another question is why you said this band is softer compared to other G-Shock, is it a bad thing like less durable?

I was just gifted this watch by my brother n sister in law. It's amazing except that I'm not able to download G-Shock Connected app from app Store on android, it shows that the app is not available in your country. Any clue what could be the solution?
btw... im writing from Argentina... right now, its not easy or cheap to get the new models of casio... and neither the older models in fact... lol
this particular timepiece, exact the same, its available from a seller, used (because its not a shop) but really like brand new, untouched, not weared, for about 120 american dollars

Thank you for watching! The app will use the GPS on your phone to track the route, so you have to turn your GPS on and also the app running on the background.

Yes, too bad you'll always need the phone close by and paired before hand.
So the watch hands will partially block that digital display from 5 to 7 or 25 to 35 minutes?
hey man...I have a question if I ask you to make a choice between GBA-800 and GW-9400 which one you select...actually I am confuse 😐...all my existing g-shocks are digital with standard module(gls8900,gd120,g9000) nothing fancy..looking for some analog with something extra but gw9400 is a buffed up machine within my budget but digital...what should I do!!!
GW9400 is better for the price but if you’re on the budget, GBA-800 is great as well for an ana-digi bluetooth G-Shock. This is the best one yet for the price.
gread video! can you put this watch in airplane mode or the bluetooth turns off automatically after i unpair my phone?
Do you know the range of the bluetooth during the automatic 4 times/day time adjustment. If I have my watch in one room and the phone in another room across my house, will it sync time or do they need to be next to each other?
David Austin nah. I got the same watch. They'll have to be pretty close to each other. In the same room. Even in the room it doesn't pick up the signal sometimes. The manual mentions the range is 2 meter. That's pretty short.
Casio states that it should be 1-2 metres. I tried to play around with it and it work fine for OVER 10 metres. The distance is affected if there are any obstacles like walls in your way of not.
Make sure the app is running in the background as well.

Ive been negotiating to buy this exact model, GA-800 3, the dark green one for about 120 american dollars... do you recommend it ?

Hey there was a setting "adjust home time position" in the mobile app. What does that do I haven't been able to understand. And thanks for the tutorial!
Sorry I forgot to mention that. It work like ‘Hand-Adjustments’ setting. Make sure the hands on the watch match with display on your phone. This is to make sure the analog hands are showing time matching with the time in digital.
GBA-400 series G-Shock blutooth watch have similar way of adjusting the hands as this GBA800 model as well.

If i wear this watch and driving with car or riding with motorcycle. Is the step keep counting?
Swen Son No sir. The was programmed not to register small vibrations as steps. I tried it already but there is a margin or error where it could register it sometimes but usually just few steps nothing that will significantly affect your results.
The steps is not synced real time to the app? How does the watch calculate the calories burnt when there is no heart sensor?
You’ll need to manually pair them at thirty minutes after recorded new steps. The watch will only pair automatically 4 times per day.
It will just calculate calories burn using steps recorded and you personal informations (height & weight, etc) that you register in the app. With no built
in heart sensor, that is pretty cool though. I doubt it will be as precise as heart sensor equipped gadget but still, it get the job done.

I actually have a light for of dyslexia, so it's a little more difficult for me to read time in analog clock than other people, so Overall I prefer digital clocks cause I can read easily, but I can read analog clock it just takes more effort from me

Nope, just simple phone finder. The older bluetooth models does have it though.
I've seen the feature when the Acclerometer automatically turns off if the watch is kept static or on a table.
Do you think it would be better if I take off my watch when I'm idle or not working to save the battery? Would it affect the battery life drastically if I wear it all the time (because the Acclerometer would be on)
I just wear this anytime I wan’t to. I don’t the consuming the battery as long as it served my needs. Besides this watch operates on CR2016 Lithium battery. They are so cheap & easy to get.

For a GBA-800, just keep the distance as close within 1-2 meters. Try close the app and open it back, check if there are any updates as well. Try going to setting and forget the bluetooth device entirely then try to pair them back again. Hope any of this might be helpful.

I’m breaking the wristwatches rules because I prefer the brand the style & design over other watches out there. I like them all but I like G-Shocks so much that rules just didn’t matter anymore to me. 😃🙏
