- Ecto-Plazm was an amazing slime to cover your Real Ghostbusters in. In this video I show the many ghosts that could be found inside of the Ecto-Plazm cans!

I had the blue Big Tongue ghost. I can still remember the smell of the ecto plazm. I tried to find it in my old toys but only found some “Monster in Pocket” figures.
I got a gooper ghost in box off ebay maybe 8years ago. The slime had been opened but was still good. And most importantly, still had the smell! If there was candles with that scent I'd have a bunch! That scent defined my childhood!
Haha ectoplasm candles. I’d buy one! It’s one of those smells that can be a little weird and you’re not sure if you’re huffing some long locked in mold, but I can’t help but smell the slime every now and then!

I had a co-op job at Kenner back in 1985-86.
For the last 9 figures you featured, I worked directly with the sculptor. He sculpted them first then passed them to me to freehand and put dimensions to the drawings for the blueprints.
Before my co-op semester ended, the sculptor brought me a set of the “first production” figures (no legal markings).
If there’s a way to add a photo I’ll do that.

They actually look the same except for there is no copyright.
I guess they are still considered prototypes.

I just looked up the recent sold prices. Some are ok, but other are absolutely stupid haha. There’s two items I don’t have from the original RGB series. The finger pops and the green ghost with the proton pack. I love Slimer (mostly), but I can’t ever talk myself into paying the

Wow….so I was today’s years old when I learned about the finger pops. I didn’t even know those were a thing. I also just learned about the proton pack Slimers about a month ago.
@@bashcrash9148 you’re not missing much with the finger pops haha. I just never picked those up because I didn’t think they looked very cool.
I've tracked ALL of these down as well. Hardest to find for me was the purple tongue ghost. The only can I have is from the mini goopers. I just cant find any unbroken US cans. Nice collection.
Thank you! I got lucky with the blue can. It was included in a large lot I bought. I wish I would have bought more years ago when you could find them easier and they were cheaper.

Series 1 (Subway Spector) it's why he's blue on the art, he was a stylized design obviously just from the poor image of a 480i VHS instead of the actual animatronic. (Licker) the squatting troll like specter. (Banshee Bomber Jr) the pink birdy specter. (Spitter Specter) the purple ghost that eventually was redone for power pack Winston as "Splitter Ghost. He was also on a episode of RGB, the one with Mekra the desert maker.
Awesome thanks! I can see the subway ghost. I was shocked when I found out he had like a fish face. I always saw him on my vhs tape as have a pointy nosed face with long hair. I’ll have to check that episode and find him. I didn’t remember him being in it. Where’d you find all of the names?
@@razrentals8897 Names are what I've called them since a kid. The spitter ghost even spit on that episode at venkman I believe, when they were lined up in front of the firehouse seeking refuge in traps and the containment unit. Also it makes sense to name most of the ghosts after actions, as that's what most of the RGB line did. "Gulper" "Chomper" "Wrapper" "Grabber" "Tickler" "Galloping Ghoul" "Street Creeper" (he's based on that promo art ghost with multilegs).
@@GhostCorpsGenesis Good point! I do remember seeing that ghost spit on Peter now that you mention it. I'll take a look in a bit to see it all again. That episode was pretty good.
Hi sehr schöne Sammlung ich habe selbst 4 Stück davon birdfisch ,big mouth, eye & teeth Ghost welche von den Geister Figuren die sie zeigen sind am schwersten zu bekommen oder welcher war der erste und der letzte den sie bekommen haben Grüße aus Deutschland
