well, the rapture didn't happen on that date, so I hope people learn NOT to share their visions but to wait to see if they/it comes true. We are not to rely on men, but on the word of God alone. It is always great to be able to rightly divide the Word of God and this is certainly accelerated with good Bible expository teaching. I was surprised to notice that my Bible, which uses the actual names printed in Hebrew characters (instead of “LORD”, etc.) has translated 2 Thessalonians 2:2 “as if the day of Yud Hay Vav Hay”, but Strong’s Concordance lists it instead as “Christos” so the KJV says “as that the day of Christ is at hand” so this clearly indicates that the translators of my Bible believe it is the same day as the Day of the LORD.

In 2 Thessalonians 1 7-10 Paul say He will be delivered (RAPTURE) AT SAMETIME THE WRATH IS FALLING.
LU,.....This guy has this all wrong. There is no rapture. Jesus comes back one time, on the last day, (judgement day). What the apostate church calls the rapture is just the separation of those few who belong to Jesus from the many who do not before Jesus judges them, (the ungodly world/church/rapture believers) and pours out his wrath on them.

You are correct about Day of the Lord.. it does happen after the Wrath of God. However, the rapture happens when we *poof* appear in heaven Revelation 7. Jesus is there when we get there (end of Ch. 7. Jesus only leaves heaven once.There are not 2 raptures. The actual rapture happens in Rev 7... the meeting Jesus in the clouds group are the left begind group who only repent AFTER getting left (those who are alive and REMAIN-1 Thesselonians 4:7

7:35 is this implying Jesus is not only coming again (arrival) second time at the time of "rapture" but will ?return? at least once more later on, eg shortly after the abomination of desolation in the end? I have heard this been questioned as to divide his arrival to phases that can span quite a time period (albeit with short intervals in between) so Jesus descends in sky and a big crowd of people given new bodies and be with Him yet no one on earth will witness it? So we are to expect actual more "multiple comings?" of Jesus? He said he would look at 5 more scriptures where day of our lord Messiah appears but I think he only looked at 4 more in addition to 2 Thessalonians....

The resurrection/rapture is an event by itself that happens after the trib, or the days of Satan's wrath which YHVH shortens for the elect sake. Matthew 24:21-22, And 15-31. Also Rev 11:14-18 after the second woe. The Trib is over at that point. YHVH'S wrath, day of the lord, happens in Rev chapter 16 while the resurrected saints are on the sea of fire and glass at the judgment seat of Christ. Paul speaks of this in 1Cor 3:12-15. Rev 7: 9-17 speaks of this also. 95% of Christians don't have a clue about these things to come.

Erasmus published two other editions in 1527 and 1535. I was surprised to notice that my Bible, which uses the actual names printed in Hebrew characters (instead of “LORD”, etc.) has translated 2 Thessalonians 2:2 “as if the day of Yud Hay Vav Hay”, but Strong’s Concordance lists it instead as “Christos” so the KJV says “as that the day of Christ is at hand” so this clearly indicates that the translators of my Bible believe it is the same day as the Day of the LORD.

So, we see that Jesus/Yeshua is addressing Israel here. In Matthew 24:1-31 all the symbolism of Israel is present so we know who he is talking about (fig tree, Judea, Sabbath, Temple). So, Israel is going to experience the things in Matthew 24. God will save a remnant as Noah and his family were sheltered in the ark (type of Israel - sheltered but goes thru tribulation).
