Batman: Arkham VR is officially coming to HTC VIVE™ and Oculus Rift beginning April 25.

and it seems like it came in broken im typing this late because now the game is broken on pc and my controllers wont function in the game which is sad because batman is like my most favorite dc character and its sad i cant really feel like being him anymore because the game wont allow my controllers

I have a question, were "return to Arkham" the games for this year? Because I was expecting and waiting for a game since I played Knight (and I don't know why people hate so much on it) And I was kind of disappointed when I saw that they were just the recreations of Asylum and City for XBOX/PS4 and that I need to wait two more years for another game... Please answer for a poor introvert who wants to play video games.

@@CaptainPeanut Ive been thinking about buying a quest for arkham and PCVR since the specs are actually pretty good. Still sucks though, but necessary.
@@kkduds3119 Exclusivity just doesn't make any sense when it comes to VR. The market is just not big enough for that to be even remotely viable. They should just release the game on Steam and on PlayStation so that everyone regardless of their VR Headset of choice would be able to play it. The game being exclusive to the Quest will also hold the game back considerably when it comes to the graphics and physics, which keeps VR from evolving further.
when will Return to Arkham available on PC, can't wait to see all of them play in Unreal Engine 4, graphical upgraded, 60 fps.....

im sure they will release a new batman game for VR in the future, this one is just a demo. I wont expect a flat/boring type of game anymore, those times are over.
Like 3D gaming pretty much replaced 2D gaming with the Ps1/n64, VR is now replaying flat gaming. Industry is moving on and VR is just sooo much better then looking on a television :D
I personally don't care for VR until we get Sword Art Online level of VR (If I'm alive still).

All the people saying crap like "Lol vr is so stupid this is a waste" has obviously never even tried it. It's a mind blowing experience where you can go into your favorite worlds, whats not to love?. And if your still hating on it just for price, your just jealous that you can't afford it. I know it's a fuck ton of money but it is worth it if you tried it.

Cool! Now someone can mod it so I can play it with a regular set-up and not have to buy an expensive, dead on arrival, headset!
Trust me, once you you've tried actual VR, you will want more games like this to be made!
I really don't like the disembodied floating hands approach, but everything else looks good. Also people talking about VR being a fad and will die out, don't know what they are talking about. Are present iteration of VR is just the beginning.

Щодо 4К не можу гарантувати якість зображення, оскільки найліпші дисплеї для ВР мають доволі помітний скріндор (принаймні мій Вайв точно дає цей ефект, якщо вдивлятись в одне місце), та AMD скоро, вже цього року, випустять власний пристрій із підтримкою 2К на 2К. А от частота кадрів точно має бути високою для будь-якого софту до ВР, бо з показником, нижчим за 60-80 кадрів на секунду, майже неможливо спокійно проводити час у віртуальному просторі.

this is just a demo for their next big batman VR games. Dont expect anymore boring flat outdated games in the future, the industry is moving to the future of gaming (VR).
