Literally one of my favorite parts of Vintage Bazaar decks is that they’re very cheap if you’re in a 10- or 15-proxy event. Proxy your 4 Bazaars and 9-11 of your forces. The creatures are all less than $5.
@@Jordan-dg8tp Depends..if I'm buying a 45k truck 7k down is about right haha. Love that I can play in proxy events easily, eventually I'll buy into bazaar. (Or borrow)
Awesome Video - and thank you for the shoutout 🙏 - I’m usually ok going slightly down on red lizards when bringing in fury’s and pyroK as the squees provide a higher than actual red count. Will watch the rest after work!
I love that this deck just plays 24 pieces of free interaction across the 75 (29 if you count Chalice and Noxious). Legacy Delver gamers can only dream of such bullshit
20:54 My instinct here is to discard vengevine rootwalla rootwalla for 6 power on turn 1. You could also hold both rootwallas for 10 power on turn 2. I'm not sure which is better (I've never played this deck) but I think either of those lines has to be better than just playing a 1/1 and then another 1/1.
Bazaar players play the deck for the high rolls like... *checks notes* ... casting Misdirection on an... Ancestral Recall? What evil have we wrought on the world?
As someone who played pitch dredge years ago and fortunate to own 4x bazaars. I wish i could play more vintage IRL because this aggro HollowVine deck is so cool. Love my rootwallas too
I love Bazaar, always love cards that are extremely powerful when used right and absolutely useless all other times. I run a proxy of one in one of my EDH decks and its always loads of fun.
Listening to the weakness discussion and can't help but think 3ball is also perhaps a wee bit of a problem (although Negation hitting it certainly helps compared to the other two)
a full seven in hand! the vine lord is too grand! farmer's market is in season! lizard king's in town! force of vigor, cast your frown! now your saga's out of reasons! trust now in the speed! bazaar is all i need! dedicated to how i'm clocking yoouuuuuu!! then pitch the master! i'm looting faster! controlling hazards! discard your MASTER! MASTER! (chunky outro riff)
In R5, with 2 revivals in hand couldn’t you grab back 2 rootwallas then bazaar? That way you can put lethal on board even if they block/remove hollow one.
Does anyone know of anyone who has tried building something similar for other formats using the slower "Bad" Bazaar's like the trademage etc. I just really love how this archetype plays and would love t otry it out for Modern or Legacy but idk if its possible without Baghdad
This deck reminds me a lot of Rhinos in how deeply inelegant it is. You've got an insanely powerful engine and you're using it to play jank Delver. Just Dredge or all-in HollowVine would be a lot more powerful, and if you want to be interactive why not play UB Lurrus or some other blue deck that gets to play all the pitch interaction and back it up with generically good cards?
I am firm in my belief that Bazaar is the strongest and most broken land ever printed. Tolarian Academy makes a bunch more mana but Bazaar wins the game by itself if unchecked.
Tbf, Vintage is so much worse than Legacy. I get it, you can play the sweet Lotus and Moxen and all those broken cards, but the play pattern is obnoxious.
Just 4 more bazaar and I'll own this deck in paper!

So what'll it be? A playset of Bazaars or a down payment on a new car?
@@shamwhoa In TCGPLayer, it has Bazaars at $1800 a pop. $7k downpayment is scary for a new car 😅

With a potential 10 power or more with four or more of it hasty.
This is NOT what Richard Garfield intended
Cackles, perfect. This is way cooler
VINTAGE!
Started following vintage thanks to your awesome content! Keep up the good work!
That "Come crawling faster" blitzed me
Mana is for less powered formats. Here cards pay for cards.
now THIS is magic as Garfield intended
love to see you playing vintage.
do wish we saw this more frequently

Woohoo Vintage!!! Love seeing some non-eternal weekend prep vintage content.
I love this deck and love the firetruckmodo call out. It’s not in a perfect spot for the metagame but it’s just so cool.
Oh man I love watching bazaar. Thanks for the awesome content Brian.

Nice. This is like Firetruck's list. I love his channel, now I get to see Bosh's take!!!!!

Really nice thank you for the video bosh
Yes! Ready for morning Bosh

Win, by every force necessary

"Counter vi-"
SQUEE. This deck is called "squee"
Typo in the title, don’t want you missing out on the search engine fun
Thanks 🙏🏻

Don't know with bazar you have to build the deck around It, with tolarian you don't have this limitation
Oh shit we playing Yu-Gi-Oh now?
In round 1 the PO would have strongly implied to me that they aren’t on Lavinia
Is this what people want when they ask for a fixed mana system?
Why do you play more wasteland than strip mine? Isnt strip mine better in all scenarios? Edit: never mind, restricted
This is what happens when you want to play Yu-Gi-Oh but still want to say you're a MTG player.
Just play cradle to counter tab
Coutner Vine, heheh

Legacy is a all math, Vintage is all vibes.
