My name is Eric and I travel with my cat, “Jax” in a 2012 Coachmen Mirada 32BH Class A Motorhome on a Ford Super Duty truck chassis. (V10 Triton) We travel about 35 miles a day chasing 70 degrees year-round since 2010. I travel with a 2009 Honda CMX 250 on the back of my RV on a Titan Ramp 600lb carrier. Bike goes 78mph and gets 70mpg. Here is my gear & some popular questions answered:

I was one of the first kids to enter the Magic Kingdom in 1971 at age 6
It was a very magical experience then and so different than now.
They let too many people in at a time. It ruins the experience. That’s why I’m a native Floridian and I don’t go anymore.
@@skoolie_life3261 Same thing at Di$neyland. USE TO BE GREAT back in the 60s-70s-80s & 90s. Now it stinks and everything is a total rip off. I could be given free tickets and I still wouldn't go.

i cant believe they are axing splash mountain its one of my fav rides in all the parks. To dump it because it offends people!!!!! truly we are the weakest generation ever.

@M G im offended one of the most popular rides is being removed because of butt hurt turds that can’t just let people live. If it was a unpopular ride and they wanted it gone that would make sense. This however is political correctness run Wilde.

Big thunder mountain railway was open when my kids were little....and the youngest is 45. We were big Disney fans having a condo in Cocoa Beach. Does anyone remember the paper coupons you used to enter the rides?

I'm not into the Disney stuff at all but the great part about this entire video was the entire ending with you & Jax at the table. I dig how you were giving him so much attention & love. That did it for getting the "thumbs up" from me. Do that more often in your videos. Jax should be the main star imho in all your videos.
One thing for sure, these lockdowns have reminded me about taking things for granted. 🤓

My father's uncle worked in the construction of "20,000 Leagues Under the Sea" which was permanently closed in 1996. It was a great attraction, but too expensive to maintain.

I live in central Florida and when we were kids in the 70’s, we used to get the cars to jump off the track and drive them along side the track.

My cat knocks his stainless steel bowls off the counter onto the ceramic tile floor. Talk about a bossy cat! That's if I'm asleep. If I'm awake, he comes and taps on my side 2 times and wants me to follow him to see what he wants. Who's the boss here? I loved your comment cuz it's so true!

I certainly will NOT be going to the park any time soon, if ever.
My wife and I were just talking about this, we have four girls and we decided that we just can't compromise our worldview for disney / espn anymore, there are so many places that could use our vacation dollars. We decided instead of Disneyworld this spring we are going to Branson.
Idiots are running/ruining Disney. RIP, Walt.

Well Eric, I have to say that I regret I will never get to visit Disney in my lifetime, however thank you for allowing me to see Disney via your eyes. It is for sure a place I wish I could see in person, thanks for bringing me along!!
I missed this one back when you posted it. I enjoyed this video so much! I understand your disappointment on so many things being closed, but you have captured a moment in time that hopefully will never happen again. Yet you have documented it completely for posterity! Your narrative was a tad negative, though. 😂 Anytime I’ve been there, I couldn’t ride everything anyway because it was 1) Too hot …2) Too crowded …3) Lines too long because of 1&2, lol! Loved this, very interesting to see some things you’d never see otherwise, like the drained river! Thanks Eric!

So jealous, the fort is our favorite place to visit! Two yrs to the day we were there for two weeks and one of our favorite things to do was to take the boat over to Disney and then get on the monorail and take it full circle stopping at all the different resorts! I also hope they bring pioneer hall back it’s the best!

Makes sense to tear up the park now while business is slow due to it that not be named. Also, with all these superficial precautions, I noticed that they are not wiping down rides after the person before you gets out and before you get in.
What a fun fun day. Enjoyed your walking and all the rides. I won’t go anymore as too much walking for me now. I’ve never been on Pooh bears ride. Loved all the dole whips. Amazing that California’s Disney closed yet that one stays open. It really is the interpretation of each business and state mandate for sure. Enjoy sleeping in.

The animatronics in Splash Mountain were characters out of books by Joel Chandler Harris - Brer Fox, Brer Rabbit, the Tar Baby, and tales from Uncle Remus. The movie, SONG OF THE SOUTH, contained these characters, plus a black gentleman, James Baskett, who played the character Uncle Remus. It's these characters, and the plantation (slavery) connotation that has people upset. All Disney has to do is to change the characters, and keep the rest of Splash Mountain.

We are going soon. Got to get the girl down there. She might be 21 but your never to old for your parents to take you to Disney, maybe her and the roommate will go. My husband and I would go to Disney World quite often in the 90’s and it was packed when we would go,haven’t been since. Got to say your attitude is good and cheery, I think it would be a bit depressing the way it is now especially because of the pandemic.
