But what about Mexico’s capital city - Mexico City, otherwise known as La Ciudad de Mexico or CDMx? What is there to see and do in this sprawling metropolis? More importantly, is it safe to visit?
In this video, I’ll show you how you can spend a few days in North America’s most populous city. Let me show you the cultural and historical gems that are on offer. Take in Xochimilco, widely known as Mexico’s Venice. There is also the historic wonder that is Teotihuacan - an ancient town that predates the Aztecs. Tremendous Capital City. A visitor quickly realize the rich and complex history, culture, traditions, architecture, art and delicious and eclectic gastronomy. Mexico City is just fascinating too much to explore and discover.
Mexico has the largest number of world heritage site recognized by UNESCO in the Americas, and five are in its Capital.
