- We are seeing retailers really respond to the grip Halloween has on all of us! Summerween is officially a thing now, here are my reviews of At Home and Michael’s new collections.

It is really hard to believe that it’s Halloween time in the stores. Our stores haven’t got any in yet but soon they said.. I start my Halloween decorating mid August because I do so much and I move a lot slower than I used to😊. Great to see you. Love and blessings 🖤🧡🖤

Hi Friend! From wikipedia-“Jumping the Shark argues that a creative work or entity has reached a point in which it has exhausted its core intent and is introducing new ideas that are discordant with, or an extreme exaggeration of, its original purpose. The phrase was coined in 1985 by radio personality Jon Hein in response to a 1977 episode from the fifth season of the American sitcom Happy Days, in which the character of Fonzie (Henry Winkler) jumps over a live shark while on water-skis.”
Us GenX and older remember that episode very clearly and it really marked the downfall of a once very cool character and show.
It also means to me when something becomes too popular and it starts to lose its charm-Like where Target started carrying The Magnolia Farmhouse line. Crappy knock offs of actual vintage farmhouse finds. Hope that helps! And thank you for your comment! Stay Spooky! 🎃🖤
