This mod doesn't work properly in OctaMED (as can be seen here at 2:24 for example). Travolta used some tricks to edit-out the slow parts from the original full-length version, and they only work correctly in Protracker.
Nice to see how this demo was put together in tracker software. I am guessing it was originally created in Noise/Pro tracker rather than Octamed though?
Quite a few people prefered pro tracker, personally I mainly used Octamed to create back then, that could simply be due to it being the first tracker program I used :p though having 8 channels was fun.(to think of the amount of music disks I threw out in the early 2000's thinking no point in hanging on to them and de-cluttering...if I had just waited, could have had them all on memory card :p). Nowadays I tend to use Magix Music Maker on PC.
Very good amiga demo. Brings back the good old days.

I think I may have to start using protracker for these videos. it's just habit and a lazy one at that.
@@TheRetroByte please... as this sounded very off...
OpenMPT123 can be set to Protracker as type which renders this correctly.
@@BennyboyTruth I personally think the demo edit sounds better.
@@gbraadnl I do too. They made the right decision when they decided the slow parts were not needed.
There was a bit of Audio missing in the last min or so, weird

Top.

Good question and very possible. I just use Octamed 4 and 5 out of habit. Cheers for the comment.
Yes definitely done in Protracker. Hardly any sceners used OctaMED for productions, not back then anyway.

@@chriscowey7464 I was a MED head also. Ray from RBF Software and Amiganuts PD still lives at the same address just 2 n a half miles from me 🙂
especially from 3:03 it sounds very bad. This is a Protracker file...
