For me the Human Sergeant is definitely one of them, he had so much potential, I'm sure that if they had more time they easily could've reworked him, I feel like he would do really well as a mini-boss in either "Surface Tension" or "Forget about Freeman", he also would've been cool to see in Opposing Force, he would definitely work better as a standalone character and not a regular enemy, he definitely had a lot of potential, a cool way they could've put him in Opposing Force is after Shepard gets left behind and later finds out he is still at Black Mesa, and Shepard tries to meet up with him and finds that Freeman already got to him, it would also be cool if you could pick up his Minigun, but you don't get ammo until right before the fight with the final boss.
Mr. Friendly kinda looks like an evolved headcrab. Maybe if half life 3 comes out we could see it actually taking control of human bodies unlike how headcrabs just hit your face.
2:42 Hold up, did the pistol actually have an empty mag reload animation or is this a fan addition? If not, why the hell didn’t they use it in the final product?
7:17 This could have lead to more options before starting the game. So you can choose if the player has glasses so if he loses them the screen can get blurry and if the player is chose to not need them that won't happen so it's like changing the state of the player.
gman : doctor freeman... Did you loose your, *inhales* glasses again? gordon : yes this thing sucks do u mind giving me back the glasses friendly : *autistic screaming* gman : what was that, come again doctor freeman? this is definitely why he was cut and for good reasons
The Female Scientist is like Half - Life 1's variation of Mossman from Half - Life 2 because she betrayed the resistance and was a spy for the combine. The same way the Female Scientist did by working for the HECU. But I'm not saying these two are the same characters but rather have that same feeling when you think about one.
I kinda wish the cut enemies made it into the fan remake. Like in a random cave in Xen off the intended path is a Mr Friendly that slithers out and tries to kill you.

I wish the Fast Walker was added. It would be super fun, with things like using guns and crowbars.
What cut enemy is your favourite?
The Kingpin. It's such a terrifying looking thing. Mr Friendly too... but he's uhh... weird.
Imagine if ivan was Gordon's father
Mr. Friendly kinda looks like an evolved headcrab. Maybe if half life 3 comes out we could see it actually taking control of human bodies unlike how headcrabs just hit your face.
So we go from head humpers to corpse humpers?
Okay!
@@HESHRocketWarhead necrophilia moment
What are you doing? Step friendly
that charger gives a new meaning to "headbutt"
4:17 what was that animation sequence in the back i need to see it
Mr. Friendly will go eh- em- m r . f r i e n d l y o n y o u .
I wonder why valve went with a more cartoonish look. Also the panther eyes look supper cool!
At 4:19, I ended up completley missing the information about the charger because I was too distracted with Barney's epic karate moves.
2:42 Hold up, did the pistol actually have an empty mag reload animation or is this a fan addition? If not, why the hell didn’t they use it in the final product?
this is a fan made game called half life absolute zero.
@@koray624 Ah that makes way more sense, I thought it was an actual HL Alpha thing for a bit.

This could have lead to more options before starting the game. So you can choose if the player has glasses so if he loses them the screen can get blurry and if the player is chose to not need them that won't happen so it's like changing the state of the player.
That's a shitty idea in so many levels I'm not even gonna bother
imagine wasting time and memory programming such a shitty idea.
gman : doctor freeman... Did you loose your, *inhales* glasses again?
gordon : yes this thing sucks do u mind giving me back the glasses
friendly : *autistic screaming*
gman : what was that, come again doctor freeman?
this is definitely why he was cut and for good reasons
lmao poor Gordon
That aireal robot near the end of the video looks like Combine tech, like the Strider
I think you forgot to mention the Boid, a flocking creature that looks like a small glider.
Yes, I realized that after uploading the video :(
Your Gmod Posters are great! Love this channel in general. Keep doing videos man.
The Female Scientist is like Half - Life 1's variation of Mossman from Half - Life 2 because she betrayed the resistance and was a spy for the combine. The same way the Female Scientist did by working for the HECU. But I'm not saying these two are the same characters but rather have that same feeling when you think about one.
id like to think the human seargeant got a demotion and thats why he's a grenadier grunt
I kinda wish the cut enemies made it into the fan remake. Like in a random cave in Xen off the intended path is a Mr Friendly that slithers out and tries to kill you.
Mr friendly should be in a family friendly anime
6:06 why the hell did Valve not keep the beta shotgun design, it’s far more visually appealing than the abominable blob in the final product
A lot of this I wish didn't get cut. The intro with The Kingpin would have been so cool
that background music thou
I would love to have seen more of the construction Worker, he looks so cool.
Ah yes I remember 1997 not born yet good times good times
