Greetings from Kelowna, BC I know you get more of these than you can wade though. I was a touring musician my entire life until a genetic heart defect derailed most of it. Due to multiple very long periods of no heartbeat it's affected certain things. While I have always loved music it is much different now. I can listen to the same song 50 times and it creates a Euphoria I have never experienced. I've recorded music, played for thousands and now I hear music completely differently. That said I need some help getting back what I had. I have always used your site but now realize just how important you are to my recovery through the way you teach. I'm in my 50's now and my original piano teacher used to try and break my fingers if I held them wrong so your approach is much more appreciated. I apologize for the oversharing but it means a great deal to me. I'm going to go cry now. : ) Thank you isn't near enough.

I am 78 and been all over the place trying to learn and finally, I find you and love the you break down chords and note positions and explaining the inversions, just maybe I will now learn something, if I can get both hands working together! My 2 favorite songs in your demonstration is “Sunday Morning,” because my fingers flow on the piano and my voice fits this bluesy song. The second is “Stay with me,” as it’s a bit soulful and also fits my voice style. So glad to be part of such a great piano ministry! Although I have been playing the piano for some years now, there is always so much more to learn. You must keep up with the skill in order to perfect it and maintain the flow.

So I am going to prepare more less seven James Taylor's song with my electroacoustic guitar (maybe "Handy man", "Carolina in my mind", "Fire and Rain", "Country Road", "Steamroller blues", "Cooperline" and "Never die Young") and the five songs you are teaching me in piano. As I am in a spanish speaking country I will prepare also spanish versions of those 12 songs. And that 12 english + 12 spanish covers in acoustic guitar and piano will be me show.
