La mayoría de los gestos de Luis Miguel en el escenario, son manías, lo del pelo, lo de poner su mano en el costado etc... Estamos claros que no es pavarotti, pero en el rango de cantantes tradicionales, Luis Miguel tiene una voz que a cultivado con el tiempo, mientras otros pierden la voz con el tiempo, él a hecho lo contrario, cada vez tiene mayor capacidad.

I’ve seen that chest grab or chest punch before many times... Luis Miguel was trained by his father in a very old school, gipsy type way... I think he does that when he prepares for a long powerful note... he hits his chest and massages it... I wonder if his dad told him when he was a child that your voice will sound more punchy or something... Sounds and looks weird... but it definitely feels like he’s doing that for a purpose and not just a weird pose

I wish my opera skills had taken me as high as his crunching down technique notes. Technique does not equal vocation, passion and self expression, more importantly his out of the confort zone afforts that have grant him a titan status as a singer. Luis Miguel's early technique and singing style was HIGHLY (mostly forcefully almost to a child exploitation extent, but oh well) instilled by his dad, an old school Spanish (hence the European technical influences) guitarist and lyricist, and wanna-be singer who, though unorthodox, taught him so much which he then took and developed or sharpened to his benefit throughout his now almost 40 year uninterrumpted career, evolving and maturing accordingly. Keep in mind, he started PROFESSIONALLY at age 10, meaning he'd been at it for at least 4 or 5 years prior, just practicing at home with his dad. Ultimately what this means is, he had to successfully overcome puberty and his voice change kicking in and it not ending his career tragically, which he accomplished.
