Linda, have you ever planted Hyacinth bean vine? I plant them in large pots with a tomato cage. They grow fast, and have the most beautiful purple beans and flowers! I think you would love them.

I loved it also. I had to stop partway as my husband had other plans for us. I finished watching this evening. You really have a beautiful place, and I love your decorative designs. Wish I were blessed in interior design. My middle sister has the gift for interior design and my baby sister the gift of floral design. Lol
I've worked in the medical laboratory field for years. I do have gorgeous roses 🌹. Lol
Willow is a great watch dog 🐕. When we receive a chewy shipment, my Yorkie can't stop sniffing the box until I open it. Can't wait for the next video.❤

Linda, thank you for the home tour today. I was hoping you would do one. You are the epitome of "casual elegance"..all things refined. Your home is so beautiful. Ben must be so proud of you..and impressed with all your talents. You are a great Interior Designer. I have copied your style in my home remodels over the years.. and I have been so pleased with the outcome. Your new kitchen, "bulter's pantry," ..it is a butler's pantry..to me too.. the new windows are so nice, the large sink window turned out wonderful. Your grounds and gardens at Sugarwood are so dreamy this season. All your hard work really has transformed the grounds. JUST ENCHANTING..
You and Ben are such a fun couple. Love seeing Ben in the videos. I'm so happy that you two have such a lovely home and land to enjoy as you age together.

No matter where you move the furniture or re arrange things around Linda. It looks beautiful. Those barstool chairs are everything! My mother-in-law also had framed art reproductions in her guest bathroom, in the kitchen etc. She was very creative in her decorating style, just like you. Thanks for the mini tour, everything is slowly but surely taking shape beautifully!

Hi Linda. Lovely video, as always. I grew a Clematis (white, Henrii variety) at my front door that just thrived and was gorgeous. My across the street neighbor and friend wanted one, too. She is a beautiful, red head with a knock out figure. She went to the local plant nursery to buy one, but could not remember the name of the flower. A young man on the staff approached her ask what she was looking for. She told him that she was looking for something called a “Climaxtis”. He responded, laughing and blushing, that he would be happy to help her with that, and then politely showed her the Clematis plants for her garden. We howled about that story for weeks. It was so like her because she often confused words and made them more hilarious. Thought that you would enjoy the story. So happy to see that Willow is doing well.

The current video was so enjoyable. You need never apologize for the length, the longer the better. I so look forward to Sunday and watching your latest offering. They never disappoint! Everyone should be allowed to express their own taste, however, I was so happy that you decided not to use the faux wallpaper and did the "real" paneling. When I first discovered you on the "Tube", it was the house tour in which you displayed the paneling in the sitting room at Groton and I was blown away by your creativity. The tavern at Sugarwood is remarkable!. I am so anxious to see the final result. Everything looks wonderful. I don't know how I missed it but I am pleased to learn that we can order from your store and have the products shipped. I will certainly be doing that. Happy Fourth, but I will be looking for the next video soon.
Sixty years ago, my Aunt Josephine introduced me to a silver pattern Old Colonial by Towel. Because she lived in Massachusetts, I spent many vacations there. And, Linda, as a hobby I have over the years collected that pattern. It is sterling, but it is used at our family dinners and it evokes the most wonderful memories. Thanks for taking me back in time.

Love the large vessel on the dining table with the greens... and really love the candle hurricanes in the kitchen window. Simple elegance. The hutch in the sunroom is gorgeous. Perfect style for a porch . Will look awesome decked out with garden goodies.

When I lived in the countryside my favorite time of day was sunrise on my front porch and walking the trails of my property with Stevie or Zoey (my dogs). The " tree" looks like it could be a burning bush that turns brilliant red in the Fall. You may want to transplant it somewhere else in your landscape if possible.

Love your videos… I wish I had your energy. But alas I’m 79 now 🫢 I used to have a lot of energy when I was young; but I was never was good with plants. Now that I am retired and older, I find it harder to dig and clear the areas to plant

As a child my Mom would come home from work to discover (summer vaca) to discover I had reorganized her living room furniture. I did it on a regular basis, all beautiful traditional pieces I wish I had today 😢

Talking about bird feeders.. My horse used to get out , go over to my neighbor's farmhouse where the bird feeder was and tip it just enough so he could eat the seeds. Fortunately he did not do this very often. It was hysterical to watch.

Love, love, love when you take us on tours of your home. I sorta have views like yours, but not real forests. I in a town house, but I can’t see any other homes from my kitchen. I see old growth trees that line a roadside, and some other trees about a quarter mile back you see thru the trees along the road. They are cedars and other evergreen trees and grass. Close to my home it’s cared for, cut weekly. The rest is cut once a month, and grows wild with blooming weeds. I fell like I’m all alone in the country, but have neighbors very close to me.
Ben seems like a wonderful husband always making things a little easier for you.

It amazes me the sun is up that early there. We once vacationed in New England…a B&B in Portland Maine and the sun was up at 5. Loved it!

How cool are those hidden screen windows! What a great idea from Pella! It really does get tedious having to change the screens and storm windows in and out every fall and spring, our windows are very old. Thank you for showing us that feature. I don't know if any other window manufacturer uses that too, but would definitely be a wonderful feature to have!😀

I was a beautiful morning to enjoy after all of the rain we've had.
I have only seen two Luna moths in my lifetime. They are rare here & so lovely.
I love paintings. My mom worked in oils, hence my appreciation for artwork. I put art everywhere! I have some gorgeous pieces and now I’m looking more at high places since I cant part with my collection. Our home is a collected evolved English Country vibe. Your home is lovely. I was going to switch over to a more white pallet but have decided to stay with my natural wood and sprinkle a few lighter pieces here and there. Seems to work.

Growing up with periwinkle asters in my parent's garden I recall loving the word, "periwinkle." My grandmother would say it with a bit of a British accent and a and slight roll of her tongue. I just loved it.

No, don't cut totally the tree...trim it down...it takes for ever to grow and survive many winter.. when time come that your don't want to plant perrenials that green bush ..will be taking care, it self.. and only then you will appreciate the tree....only check how much the bush cost? Environmental protector of trees let mother nature move it from your patio. EVEN strong wind that tree protect your house because it break the speed of wind..Blessings
