Some men have a problem with strong women if a woman asserts her dominance over a man she's manipulative but if a man does it its cool and he's praised for it such a sad world we live in.

Most favored is Barney (for obvious reasons), then Marshall because he’s genuinely a good guy, then Robin because she’s cool, then Ted and Lily who are actually hated (Ted because he’s a “nice guy” and Lily because she’s done plenty of bad stuff)

It’s that I’ve seen this series like 4 times now and every time I see it. Lily just stands out like a sore thumb at how bad of a person she is compared to everyone else. Her selfishness is so crazy, the way she basically tortured Marshall emotionally in the end of the first season and the first half of the second season. She had no problem letting Marshall support her when she didn’t have a job and was trying to make it as an artist. Yet the second Marshall started doing what he loved, she couldn’t take it anymore and decided to bounce and leave. Oh how about when she had Marvin and she admitted to Ted that sometimes she wishes she could abandon her husband and child. I’m sorry, but that in my opinion is way worse than the things Ted has done. The thing that Ted did were to women that he was dating. It wasn’t anything really serious. Like what Lily did to her Fiancé and eventually her husband. That’s just vile. But. If you can tell me something that’s worse than that. Well, I’m willing to change my mind. I’m alway down to talk to a fellow HIMYM fan.

@@JimhalB was an egotistical ass, when she left marshall for san francisco. first she said she wouldnt take the chance, but then went back on her word and leaving marshall. marshall then had to call the wedding off all by himself and notify everyone. ruining a relationship all for an opportunity. there are millions of art schools in nyc, but she had to go to sf. then after coming back and acting as if nothing ever happened, she sneaked up on marshalls date and didnt give them privacy simply bc she regretted her decision and missed marshall. another reason to hate lily is the fact that she also sabotaged multiple of teds relationships, which she had no right to, not even seeing her wrongdoing she even defends what she did. she also lied to marshall about her credit card debt which caused him to take another job instead of becoming and environmental lawyer. she acted like an ass bc ted called her a grinch when she left marshall (rightfully so) simply bc she couldnt see that she was one. lily was the most egotistical, manipulative and annoying character in the show. she always wants things the way she does and she does anything for that.
