Wow wow wow. U're so DETAILED n INFORMATIVE !!!!!! Honestly, i never ever follow this kind of travel show n narrative in my whole life. Really really IMPRESSED !!!!! WELL DONE !!!!! U should be with MEDIA CORP hosting such programmes.
Woww..Volvo B11R..good bus very comfortable..it has good suspension, powerfull engine, lot of safety features. MAN my preferred bus too and also Scania. All these continental buses are superb
Great trip. Finally there is Singapore - Malaysian Long Distance bus with two passengers doors, usually all of these buses only have one passenger door, no matter it's single deck or double deck
I am delighted to come across this very good video of yours . Been planning to visit Malacca soon & looking forward to a stay at Hatten Hotel . The only snag most probably will be at the causeway . Anyway , it's worth trying out this super coach . Thanks much for this video . 👍👍👍
Just wondering...are all coaches drop-off arrival will always be the same for pick-up point when return to SG when we use the same coach company? Thanks again for your useful video👍
If the overall dimension of the folded bike is no bigger than the typical luggage, I'm confident it can be accommodated in the luggage space. But of course, it is always best to check with the operator if they have any concerns with such items. Thank you for watching! :)
Good question! I have a penchant for MAN and Volvo coaches as I find that they have better overall suspension, especially for long-distance journeys. The suspension system on the new generation Scania are not as good as the older generation of Scania, but generally they are not too bad also.
Thanks for the informative video. I hope to bring my 86 years old mum to visit her siblings at Malacca soon. May I ask if it is easy to call grab or take a taxi in Malacca? Thanks.
Yes, Grab is easily and widely available in Malacca. For your information, Cityline has just extended its promotion till the end of November, for travel till 31 Dec 2022. For your convenience, look out for the coach code “DD 40” or “DD 41”, for bookings on the double-decker coach. It would be much easier for your elderly mum to get on and off the coach. Hope the information helps 😁 Thank you for taking time to watch the video.
Awesome and really informative! Really enjoyed watching the whole video, would be great if you could do one with WTS Travel from SG Genting Highlands! :)
Hello. The bus drivers will wait for about 15-20 minutes at the checkpoints. It is important for passengers that they have all the necessary and complete documents for immigration clearance and entry into the country.
Thank you. Tickets booked now till 31st Oct is sold at promotional price of SGD28.80 (one-way) and SGD54 (return). Henceforth, it will be sold at the regular price of SGD32 (one-way) and SGD60 (return). All prices stated are for departures from Singapore. You can also check the latest prices on Easybook web or app.
Hi ,can you recommend a bus route and which bus company from hatten hotel to KL( city centre) I will be catching this Volvo bus from Singapore to hatten hotel in melaka Also, online booking details please Thanks Also,
Unfortunately, there are no bus services between Hatten Hotel Terminal to Kuala Lumpur. You would have to go to Melaka Sentral, Melaka's main interstate bus terminal to get to Kuala Lumpur. You can book your tickets via BusOnlineTicket, Easybook or RedBus, on their mobile apps or online websites. Choose Terminal Bersepadu Selatan (TBS) as your destination. There are many operators to choose from, but if you prefer Super VIP/Executive class buses (2+1 seats), you can choose KKKL Express. There are numerous buses with the standard 2+2 seats on this route. From TBS, you can get to KL Sentral, Kuala Lumpur's main transportation hub via KLIA Transit or KTM Komuter. The Sri Petaling LRT also goes to Kuala Lumpur but its line does not pass through KL Sentral. Hope that helps.
Went to busonlineticket Web. There is no bus leaving from bugis to melaka, only from Queen Street to hatten hotel Can you guide me how to book this Volvo bus, leaving from bugis mrt exit d to hatten hotel in melaka . thanks for your help
Kalau di Malaysia/Singapura, ianya adalah Transtar First Class Solitaire Suites yang melayani rute Singapura-Kuala Lumpur pp dan Singapura-Resorts World Genting pp.
The best way to know if the coach you are booking is a double- or single-deck is to check the seating arrangement when selecting your seats. Some operators will also indicate the coach type when selecting the preferred departure time. For example, Cityline will indicate the double-decker coach as "DD40" or "DD41". Others like Transtar (Solitaire Suites) and Aeroline operates with a full double-decker fleet.
Most double-deck coaches have 3 seats in a row - a pair of seats on the right and single seat on the left. A visual of the seating arrangement is shown in the video.
If you are passing through Tuas/Second Link, there is one money changer near the convenience store at the Malaysia checkpoint. Not sure of it's operating hours. If you are passing through Woodlands/Johor Bahru, there's money changers just after the immigration counters at the Johor Bahru checkpoint. There are no money changers at the Singapore side. But I suggest you change your money before boarding the bus.
I am taking Cityline bus to Malaka. The interior is different from the video. I am not that satisfied, as the interior look old and not well maintained.
Cityline Travel operates a range of coaches from single-decks to double-decks on the Singapore-Melaka route. The type of coach operated on a particular departure timing is reflected during reservations. Sorry to know that your experience is not satisfactory.
Due to the availability of R&Rs and lay-bys every few kilometres along the PLUS Highway, most companies have decided to do away with toilets altogether, and fit these spaces with seats instead. Which in turn, increase their revenue.

Thanks again for your useful video👍
Yes it should be the same. But due to operational reasons, it may slightly differ. Do check with the onboard staff for confirmation.

are the seats on this B11R equipped with USB ports for charging phones?
Unfortunately no, they are not fitted with USB ports or electric sockets.
is there any charger port inside the bus?
No, unfortunately there isn’t.
Very informative video. Not sure can bring our bifold bike on the bus or not
