Super Spacious Double-Decker From Singapore To Kuala Lumpur
Singapore welcomes as many as 3 new express coach operators from Malaysia, just as 2024 comes to an end.
The first of the trio to start operations is Moraza Express. It is also the first and only operator to deploy the new The Ark A-20DD from SHLCoach to Singapore. But what is most outstanding is just how spacious the cabin is when compared to other similar double-deckers.

      I believe they are always ready to accommodate wheelchair-bound passengers. However, it would be a challenge for the passenger as the distance between the door and the lower deck seats may be quite far apart.

    • @jomnaikbas
      @jomnaikbas 17 дней назад

      Probably, but I don’t think it will be any significant. Those staying in the north of Singapore might be tempted to go via JB-Larkin, but majority of travellers will still choose to go direct from Singapore. However, the real change that we should anticipate is when the KTM ETS service begins. Will travellers still choose bus? Will there be major consolidation of operators? Time will tell :)

      There is no toilet onboard, but the bus will make a short toilet break along the highway. Nonetheless, if passengers need to go to the toilet urgently, let the coach captains know so they can make arrangements to stop at the nearest layby or R&R where possible.

    I don't think it's 13.5 meter bus. Moraza has 38 seat in their older SKS bus which is exactly the same with this The Ark. I think, Mutiara is the only company using The Ark 13.5 meter... (Sifu correct me if I m wrong)

    • @jomnaikbas
      @jomnaikbas 28 дней назад

      You’re right, it is not 13.5m. It’s just 13m long, not the LBDD version that Mutiara Express ordered. That is why I stated 13m, and not 13.5m. The Sksbus were 12.8m long, just slightly shorter.

    I’m glad they used Volvo. They ARE the benchmark with Safety. Personally, Safety standards are just as equally or if not, MORE important than simply having powerful and reliable engines alone. That said, I know that tour buses and especially double decker buses’s weakest points are the supporting structures on both sides if an overturned accident happens. Hopefully Volvo took that into account with their fabulous models of Tour buses. Lastly, I hope they have these new Volvo buses plying the route to Ipoh and Genting someday. 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
