I started with Elantris because I wanted to fully grasp his evolution as a writer. Other than that, nailed it. 10 out of 10 that's what those books are about ;) I've read a few of those and most of the others are on my list as well. Jade City is a solid one to jump into. It's a different vibe than most of what you'll come across.
@@BiblioTheory my son just got done reading it (he'll be 15 next month) and he's reading Steelheart as well. So far, he's enjoying it all. He's the kind of kid who read all of Rick Rioridan's books at least 3 times. So I'm trying to introduce him to the next level of age books and genres.
Well, regardless of how accurate these book predictions might be, you are most definitely a bit crazy (and we love you for it, haha). Very curious to see how you are going to like Lies of Locke Lamora, Assassin's Apprentice, Jade City and Dandelion Dynasty, those are some of my personal faves! And Poppy War and Mistborn are two of the series that got me into adult fantasy, though I don't dare to reread them now hahahah. Enjoy digging into these!! 🤩
I'm thinking out of all of these, I'll dive into Jade City first Something about this one is pulling me a little more than the others haha Could be that I like the color green 🤷🟩🤣
I’m sure you’ve heard it a ton-but Malazan is worth the suffering. I too need to get into the wars of light and shadow-a series I’m picking up as soon as Malazan is done 😂 And then a bunch of others I need to get after-assassins apprentice is worth just picking up out of no where. Just throw it over whatever’s next-you won’t regret it
I have read all of the ones you mentioned expect The Dandelion Dynasty (it is on my TBR though). Of the 9 I did read: I would say Mistborn and Gentleman Bastard Series would be the two I recommend to go higher on your TBR. I too read Stormlight Archive before mistborn (it was my first Brandson Sanderon book /series). Would recommend. The one I bounced off the hardest would be poppy war. Read book one. Some interesting points / characters but overall did not enjoy. From what I've heard from people that read the rest of the series, it goes down hill from there too. I do not plan on continuing with series.
@BiblioTheory hahaha let me know how you get on . Its a huge series but so well loved ..I feel like I need to try it at least. As well as the wheel of time
I started Brandon sanderson with Elantris I really enjoyed it
Great that you have plenty to look forward to. Happy reading.
Love The Poppy War, Gardens of the Moon and Jade City.

I have Elantris on my shelf too! Haven't dived into that one either just yet 😂

@@BiblioTheory Very wise choice, if you ask me hahah. Could also see you bingeing the series before the end of the year, it's sooo addictive!!
I loved the green bone saga

Lol, even I've just read 3 of those series. Way too many amazing works out there❤🔥
I would probably skip the Poppy War honestly. I think the first book is pretty good but it falls apart as the series goes on.
Malazan scares me lol
I'm 120 pages in and it still scares me 😂😂

Well aren't you more of a sci fi reader vs a fantasy?
Now that is very true 😂
@@BiblioTheory you seem to know a lot of sci fi and you wrote sci fi book so 👀
Ngl....the gunslinger is one of the worst books I've ever read. It has moments of being alright, but mostly it isn't. 😬 just my honest opinion.
