Idk what it is, but im just really reluctant to read "Will of the Many." The marketing keeps saying Fantasy Red Rising, which i loved to death. I can't see it being as good, so I keep thinking I'm better off rereading Red Rising instead. 😅
You can get Will of the Many from the library and just DNF if you're not feeling it. Low risk, potentially you find a great book.
Fate Inked in Blood started off promising, for me, but went downhill towards the end of the book. I gave it a 3 star read, but usually the 1st book in series isn’t the best one so I’m hoping book 2 is better.
I don’t know when it’s published in the US but the Cautious Traveller’s Guide to the Wasteland by Sarah Brooks was a lovely atmospheric read and I really highly recommend it!!
I loved The Tainted Cup!
A couple of 2024 releases that I've enjoyed (I receive ARCs so I think a couple of these are getting published next month but aren't out yet) are: A Song to Drown Rivers, The Undermining of Twyla and Frank, Goddess of the River, and The God and the Gumiho
The only new release I read this year is How to solve your own murder, not a Fantasy but I really enjoyed it!

The Will of the Many is my favorite book that I've read this year. I loved the writing style, characters and how fast paced it was. Can't wait for the sequel.
If you like cozy fantasy and manga, read Frieren. It's one of the single best mangas I have ever read

Hannah Kaners Godkiller/Sunbringer I liked very much. Also Tashi Siris The Jasmine Throne/The Oleander Sword. Both have interesting worlds, well fleshed out characters, interesting magic and some nice light romance.
Agree with The Will of the Many take. I loved The Lycanius Trilogy and was iffy about this one. I'm so excited for the second book hopefully I'll feel better about it.

I recommend a book to check out is A Spin of Fate by A.A Vora it seems to be right up your alley on what you’d like in a fantasy
I wanted to like The Tainted Cup so much, but was pretty disappointed in the end 😕 It felt like the author is more interested in politics than developing the worldbuilding.
