Had some family in Alhambra shoot fireworks into my apartment like it’s a battlefield. Then next thing you know they end up shooting a firework into a tree and it caught fire. Thankfully no one got hurt. But it just shows this year no one wanted to be safe instead they wanted to cause chaos. Chilling thought
So many fireworks in my area but zero enforcement. Are the cops sleeping in their cars?

They can't do anything. The DA won't prosecute, so there is no point in the cops doing their job

Montana, North Dakota, Oregon, South Dakota and Washington have more fireworks related forest fires around the 4th of July than California. you know how i know that? i read a study instead of just believing what they tell me on the news.

One of the classic examples not to hold a private fireworks show. People swear it'll be fine. The man who checked on their mortar style firework clearly wasn't using common sense. It sucked delivering food last night. Don't know if a firework was about to blow, while turning on a street.

People don't get it. Why take chances with lighting your face on fire, losing one or both your thumbs, or setting your neighbor's house on fire (or your own) just for a few seconds of "fun", when there are a whole bunch of fireworks displays with trained pros that can do a way better job than you??!!

On my street it was the MAGAs setting off the mortars. They think visual displays of patriotism are superior to public service. Lots of flags, signs, bumper stickers, beer bottles in the street, and fireworks. Yay America.

Honestly with climate change, and it being cloudy randomly you can't clearly see most fireworks. They also cause air pollution. And it severely scares animals. I think we need to slowly move towards banning fireworks. Like if you are found to sell them mandatory 1 year in jail and a heavy fine.
We need to move towards drone celebrations. Like make half the fireworks shows drone shows. Then slowly year by year less and less fireworks until drones are the default. We can also prevent a lot of fires/injuries.

They're banned. But people still bring them from Nevada or Mexico. In both cases the border patrol doesn't do anything. I drove to Las Vegas with expired plates and back. No issues. They just wave as you drive by them, not a keep going more 👋 hi driver.

Why pass California legislative laws such as California Code, Health and Safety Code - HSC § 12700 to ban illegal fireworks if the people we voted for DO NOT enforce them? Clearly those who should uphold these laws is certainly not giving us more bang for our buck!

I woke up this morning, and the air was so smokey. I thought there was a fire, but no, it was from all the fireworks last night. I have no sympathy for the guy who blew his face off.

They feel safer when they know they can't be attacked from the above, sides or from behind.
A box works too if you don't have a crate.
Put in his favorite toy and a blanket.
You can even add a bluetooth speaker with soothing music.
