This has to be my all time favorite DLC and a great example of how DLC should be done. It came with four new maps, and the fifth map was unlocked after 69 million team actions. New guns, new character models and an excellent soundtrack, mixing classic tunes and new tracks by Anders Lewen.

I miss this DLC so much. I still can't believe DICE never fixed the bug that caused all of your Bad Company 2 loadout presets to reset to default EVERY time you played Vietnan. I know that was a huge turn-off for me. Regardless, beautiful shots!

@@elchapas3313 The original BF is dead since Battlefield 2. Even Battlefield 3 which was a good game in itself, didnt feel like the "old" Battlefields. The break from the "old ways" started after Battlefield 2142 imo.

Great job on this piece my friend. You rekindled the Vietnam flame within me to the point where I'm considering to buy this for PC. I've only ever played it on the Xbox 360. The music choice was spot on and fitted the whole theme very well. Awesome.
Darn, it was just on sale on Origin last week. 6e for base game, 3e for Vietnam I think. Definitely worth it.
I pondered over the song selection for a while. I knew picking CCR would block the video on handheld devices and Germany, but... it was the only way to go.
I just checked, seems like it went back up to 10e again. Bad timing by me unfortunately. And CCR just fits so well with Vietnam, it's a match made in heaven.

That's up there, but I would still say Vietnam is still the best DLC I've ever played..
You see the name Vietnam .. You hope for a new one, but you know it is the old Vietnam. Beautiful memory fun time. Beautiful music and a voice within you that this says..just like 2142 let it die. And give us BFBC3 Vietnam or Vietnam BF4 or BF5 or 'i can't stop'' 2143 on 120 HZ :)
Rising storm 2 may be more new and shit but this has more variety, not only planes but helicopters, cars, tanks, etc.

I may be blowing off cobwebs asking this, but is the current download on Hattiawatti's Cinematic Tools site, the same, albeit updated, download you used for Bad Company 2 Vietnam?

+IStrafer1I Nope, BC2 uses a different, more simple tool. Not sure if it's even downloadable anywhere right now. I can upload it somewhere if you need it. However it only works with the Origin version of the game.
Hmm, damn. I got the Steam version after playing on PS3 for years; might have to fork out another $15 for Origin. If you could upload it somewhere, that would be fantastic.

I think Bad Company 2 with Vietnam DLC was best game DICE ever produced. They have said they "don't know what made this game so good and can't do it again..." I don't believe it at all...they know but they won't create games this good again because they last for decades and people won't rush buying newer games.

In all honesty, I never had a chance to experience Vietnam. I always heard good things about it.
Me neither, I was born years after the war ended. Only heard bad things about it though.
