I've seen Kingfish about 20 times at various Blues festivals, he is frickin amazing, he's not that new. Love y'all's reactions, check out Samantha Fish if you want to see his Female counterpart.
I have been following Kingfish since he has been about 14yrs old. He is in his early 20s now. This is BB Kings last Prodigy. This kid is freaking amazing. To watch a future legend bloom has been amazing to watch.
This song is cover of Michael "iron man" Burks Empty Promises. Kingfish does this song an amazing justice brings tears to my eyes every time I listen to it. Thank you for reacting to it so well and wholesome. Bless Up!
I follow guitar players. He hit my radar when he was a 16yo. Phenomenal talent. He gets deep in your soul and makes you feel the music like no new artist can. ❤️ this kid!
He's a friend of my son's, they met at Jazzfest a few years ago. They're both blues guitar players from the 'Sipp. He's a fine young man and a gifted performer. Glad y'all have discovered him. 🥰✌️🤘
Shout out to John for introducing you both to this amazing young blues artist. He is incredible. Love his music. Reminds me so much of BB King and how Lucille sounded, then switches to that rock lead guitar sound. Nothing like a guitarist who respects their instrument, it ends up becoming a part of them. Great song, great reaction Asia and BJ ❤️
My brother passed when I was 13. He has taught me everything I knew up to that point on guitar. He was a great player but I was already surpassing him. I heard Stevie Ray for the first time shortly after he needle took my brother. Never connected more with a song like I did with Life By The Drop. That’s when I became a full bore bluesman in my mind. Dove into every different player I could find and in time found my strat and a loop pedal became the greatest therapy tool of all time. When you are that deep in the pocket as a guitar player it feels like nothing else matters in that moment. All the bullshit, drama, bills, and stresses on your shoulders are gone. It’s just you and the guitar. Nothing else matters. For a a few moments second I feel a high that’s equal to 1/10th of what those jam sessions with my brother were like. I feel his soul still with me. That’s what it’s like and it’s fucking rad. Many other factors too. Don’t even get me started on feel, the feeling of playing in a great live band, or guitar tone either.
sooooooooo cool to see you guys giving some love to new artists keeping the genre alive! this young brother is dripping in talent and can use all the exposure we can all pass his way. there are quite a few actually and he is right up there. my personal favourite is Marcus King and he too can use some love from y'all.................. Cheers
He's from my hometown of Clarksdale, MS....the birthplace of the blues. I grew up with several of his family members. The song is his rendition of and ooooold blues song. Christone has studied several guitarists from various genres...and combines them. He's a bluesman through and through.
You guys are slowly but surely reverting back to your full (c)rap, hip hop, etc., fascination, and YOU will slowly but surely lose subscribers. YOU two may think that it's the best "music" ever, but, poor things, it's not. Not even close. And THAT is the saddest thing of all. That you've been exposed to historically excellent rock, progressive, blues musicians & bands, and yet you simply can't break free of the mediocre garbage that you grew up with.
Excellent choice!! Kingfish is nice. You should pick the other young Brotha he plays with occasionally, Eric Gales. Albert King featuring Stevie Ray Vaughan, “Stormy Monday”, will give you an idea of who SRV got some of his style from. Close your eyes and you almost won’t know who’s playing… Another classic is Buddy Guy featuring Jonny Lang, “Midnight Train”. Classic!! Great work, Asia and BJ!!
Got to react to some some Dirty Loops. Not blues, but stellar musicianship that I know you guys would appreciate, because of your love of great music Start with the song Next To You. It's funk, pop, fusion, gospel and jazz all mixed into one song.
caught a few bootlegs of this cat a few years back..Thank you two for giving talent a stage. that man just killed it!..the guitar had to. have a cigarette and a vacation after that! 😁
Suggest- Joanne Shaw Taylor, Eric Gales, Joanna Conner, Danielle Nicole, Beth Hart...so many great artists in this genre! I had the pleasure of seeing Christone, Eric Gales and Joanne Shaw Taylor play together on the KTBA cruise, mind blowing
This young man is such a breath of fresh air in music. Been following him for a while now...since he was like 15 I believe. This is a cover he's doing by Michael Burkes....so don't worry, this young brother is not that heartbroken haha. Check out the original too, RIP Michael Burkes. Keep rocking and rapping and doing what y'all do. Loving it from here in Fort Worth, but from Pittsburgh originally. Cheers y'all!
Saw him live for 1st time in Vicksburg Mississippi in September for my 20th wedding anniversary and he definitely delivers every bit of himself to his audience. He is one of the best in my opinion.
Dang! This is my forth time watching this. I just found out Kingfish is playing tomorrow in my hometown. Theater is almost sold out and all that's left is balcony seats. I'm gonna catch him next time. He is 23 years old...
Heard of him but never listen to him.. this was awesome!... could bring blue's back given enough exposure 😎 ..player myself and a gear collector, his guitar tone is awesome! and it's no accident, has more gain that traditional blue's but kept it blue's...uses a wah pedal like Hendrix and Vaughn and uses a Gibson 335 Hollow Body and sings like BB king...he is special
The best videos are when you don’t have to say much….just take it all in, try and comprehend the greatness you’re listening to. This guy is pure talent.
Wow! Kingfish is amazing! I've listened to all of the greatest blues guitarists, rock guitarists, seen many of them live like Jimmy Page, Jeff Beck, Toni Iommi, Carlos Santana, and others. But I feel like Kingfish is already on that level, maybe not as famous because things are so different these days but I love what he is doing.
I love how you guys invest your time in to music and Iove how you both are open to listen to all types of new sounds, I have two major suggestions that I think you both would love to react to - Billie Eilish Happier then ever and Kelaiah I'll try to make it to the other side
Reaction Videos (from my brothers and sisters) like this kind of annoy me. Mainly because so many of these reaction videos are about artists that SOOOOO many other (white) people have known about. Just look at the audience. NO people of color. I find it kind of sad that people are in their late 20s, 30s and 40s and have never HEARD of people like Stevie Ray Vaugh, Beth Hart, Marcus King, Gary Clark Jr and others. There are OTHER music genres out their besides R&B and Rap. Open your musical tastes and TRY to listen to other forms of music. I promise you there are TONS of musicians out there who would blow your mind if you are willing to venture out of a limited musical box.
I've seen Kingfish about 20 times at various Blues festivals, he is frickin amazing, he's not that new. Love y'all's reactions, check out Samantha Fish if you want to see his Female counterpart.
I second the Samantha Fish request. Woman is a powerhouse!
He was born in 1999. What an amazing young talent. Representing the next generation of blues
Im glad to see blues becoming more dominant again
I have been following Kingfish since he has been about 14yrs old. He is in his early 20s now. This is BB Kings last Prodigy. This kid is freaking amazing. To watch a future legend bloom has been amazing to watch.
Oh, Kingfish is a beast on guitar. Wonderful voice as well.
This song is cover of Michael "iron man" Burks Empty Promises. Kingfish does this song an amazing justice brings tears to my eyes every time I listen to it. Thank you for reacting to it so well and wholesome. Bless Up!
Same here, his band is amazing also.
I follow guitar players. He hit my radar when he was a 16yo. Phenomenal talent. He gets deep in your soul and makes you feel the music like no new artist can. ❤️ this kid!
Thank you, THANK YOU!!! Christone is the future of the Blues in this country!!!!! Nothing but love from me for this choice!!!!
He's a friend of my son's, they met at Jazzfest a few years ago. They're both blues guitar players from the 'Sipp. He's a fine young man and a gifted performer. Glad y'all have discovered him. 🥰✌️🤘
We have lots of great Blues guitarists in Chicago. Kingfish rates right up there with the best of them. Love this kid. So talented 🎸
Southern Mississippi delta background .

He doesn't sound like BB growing up in Greenville Ms I can give a first hand account of that, but that being said he is amazing.
@@kurtsaxton823 Reminds me and Sounds like are not the same Kurt 😂. I 100% agree with you that he is amazing and has a huge future ahead of him.
@@forevalearning understood. He is incredible.
Our pleasure!
Been following Kingfish since he was 12. Unbelievable guitarist even back then. Blew me away the 3 times I've seen him live.
Love this song, glad its getting some attention.
🔥 It doesn't seem fair that someone can both sing and play guitar that well. Excellent reaction!
Thank you 🙌
For blues fan like me this is great that young guy like kingfish is representing the next generation of Bluesmen
My brother passed when I was 13. He has taught me everything I knew up to that point on guitar. He was a great player but I was already surpassing him. King fish being that good at 22 is insane. He is so talented i hope he is around for a long time
Kingfish is a guitar hero.
He’s vocals are getting better and better.
sooooooooo cool to see you guys giving some love to new artists keeping the genre alive! this young brother is dripping in talent and can use

Wow! Kingfish can straight jam. Awesome that ya'll reacted to him. Not sure why nobody else has.
When you have Eric Clapton, Stevie Ray Vaughan, Allman Brothers, B.B. King, etc, available, there's really no need for comparative mediocrity.
You guys are slowly but surely reverting back to your full (c)rap, hip hop, etc., fascination, and YOU will slowly but surely lose subscribers. I just stumbled on kingfish about a month ago. I love him.
Oh you discovered kingfish! Excellent! This kid is Uber good🥰 I discovered him maybe about four years ago he is just freaking awesome!😎
Ohmygosh! I just bought tickets to see this amazing man with Buddy Guy coming to Atlanta March 17th…..
Got to react to some some Dirty Loops. Not blues, but stellar musicianship that I know you guys would appreciate, because of your love of great music Start with the song Next To You. It's funk, pop, fusion, gospel and jazz all mixed into one song.
I went to see Kingfish last November. He was outstanding. His voice and guitar playing were on another level. Thank you for reviewing him.
We've been to see Kingfish 6 times from Beale Street to the Ryman. Amazing guy.
Saw him live, great show. Good to see young people playing the blues.
After purchasing two tickets to cancelled concerts, I finally travelled four hours to see Kingfish live. This young man is a multigenerational talent.
Great young player keeping the Blues Alive along with Quinn Sullivan and Gary Clark Jr
caught a few bootlegs of this cat a few years back..Thank you two for giving talent a stage. that man just killed it!..the guitar had to. have a cigarette and a vacation after that! 😁

You know that little fish symbol on cars. Well this is Kingfish and we've all been blessed.
He’s the truth. Saw him in austin last year. Incredible performer and talent
Saw this guy on Luke Cage playing The Thrill is Gone. Dude is incredible
Saw him live for 1st time in Vicksburg Mississippi in September for my 20th wedding anniversary and he definitely delivers every bit of himself to his audience. He is one of the best in my opinion.

Christone is one of the young talents rocking the blues world with a great voice and a gunslinger on guitar...checkout the bass player..a killer.
That "stank face" says it all.....he's absolutely amazing
Heard of him but never listen to him.. this was awesome!... could bring blue's back given enough exposure 😎 ..player myself and a gear collector, his guitar tone is awesome! and it's no accident, has more gain that traditional blue's but kept it blue's...uses a wah pedal like Hendrix and Vaughn and uses a Gibson 335 Hollow Body and sings like BB king...he is special
"662" Birthplace of The Blues and of Kingfish himself. He was born in Clarksdale, Mississippi. Check out "662"
love Kingfish
This was written by the late Michael Burks. You should check out Michael doing it live
That Les Paul is gorgeous…great playing/singing…dudes crazy talented
The best videos are when you don’t have to say much….just take it all in, try and comprehend the greatness you’re listening to. This guy is pure talent.
So refreshing to see people give this brother his shine
Wow! Kingfish is amazing! I've listened to all of the greatest blues guitarists, rock guitarists, seen many of them live like Jimmy Page, Jeff Beck, Toni Iommi, Carlos Santana, and others. Brothers vibrato is on point!!!
Kingfish is a beast
I love this girl.
A guitar can't play the blues unless it's been in a pawn shop - B.B. King
The same thing for the heart.
Its so good 🎸🎸🎸🎸🎸
I love how you guys invest your time in to music and Iove how you both are open to listen to all types of new sounds, I have two major suggestions that I think you both would love to react to - Billie Eilish Happier then ever and Kelaiah I'll try to make it to the other side

Never heard of him before…but he is soooo smooth
I knew B J would love this!!!
Love me some Kingfish. Smooth as butta!!!
Greatness!
When you play like that nothing is going through your head it's all in your heart. Your fingers know what to do your head just gets in the way
That Solo Is Deeper then the Mariana Trench
That is what a heartbreak sounds like.
One word... MISSISSIPPI!! and yes at this point now I think he is maybe 25 or 26 now
Just turned 25 last week
Kingfish is the real deal!
King fish is one bad boy. Prodigy
Flawless string bending for a kid his age.... also notice how he grabs the notes .. . .the better players shake the hell out of the strings.
He is from Clarksdale Mississippi.
Gotta support this kid he is the future
I would love to see more of the young generation embrace this music and less underground hip hop
Now we know where Bb King and Stevie Ray went! Hendrix too!!
guitar community knows him well!!
Dude is the real deal.
Saw his jimi hendrix cover. Support the artist. Buy his music.
I've seen Kingfish at least 10 times. A monster blues man. His shows always kick butt. He needs to lose a pound or two. I'd hate to lose him.
B-17 years old right now
More blues please! Try some Samantha Fish!
Hey guys. Love your content. My birthday is coming up on May 14. Can you do a reaction video to Tuxedo "Shy"? Please 🙏🙏
