I'm Sudanese and i tell you this civil war didn't tear us apart. it achieved what was supposed to happen in the first place, Sudan and S Sudan were not supposed to be a one country, we never were in history except when we were invaded by the Ottomans and British who lumped their territories to reduce administration cost.
Forceful unification will always be harmful and wrong.
