It's crazy back in 1980 I was living not too far from Kent, WA and driving a 1970 Red 442 Convertible. Washington State has some pretty good old cars! Something I was thinking is keep the old artwork paint and kind of antique or not perfect the main body paint to work with what's still there. So maybe intentionally try to not be all that perfect but make it look like a decent aged old hotrod! Improve it but don't make it too good! Anyhow that is my two cents worth for what it's worth!
As soon as I saw that hood, I'd have wanted to establish what year the car is... because that hood is for a 67 427. As soon as I saw the seats, I recognized them as 1967 only. But, the fender louvers are for 65-66. The area above the rear license plate would have a rectangular back up light, if it was originally a 67. Hard telling how many times this car has been wrecked and put back together with pieces of several different cars, thus all the different colors on different parts of the car, and the flared fenders. The registration form did have the VIN for the car on it, and the number "5" before the "S" would indicate 1965. After seeing all of that, I'd have gone looking for the hidden serial number that's stamped on top of the frame. I went thru much of what I just said... with one I bought as a 67, with a 67 title, without looking at the trim tag. After getting it home I discovered that the trim tag indicated it was a 66. Come to find out it was originally a 67, but had been stolen... and someone tried to disguise it as a 66... and used the trim tag and title from a junked 66 to sell it 2 times. Ultimately the FBI examined the car's hidden serial number, which fortunately matched my title. Lesson learned... always compare the title with the serial number and trim tag on the car... just for starters... and if you're paying a lot for the car, and/or expect to sell it for a good amount... bring a Corvette expert along with you.

I was wondering, why don’t you squirt fuel down the vent tube to the float bowl, so you can fill up the float bowl?
Why don’t you pickle the pistons with diesel and PBBlaster to unsieze. No multi meter at Autozone?
