I live near planty in Machynlleth in mid wales ,seen him many times in the town shopping ,he speaks to everybody like they were friends.not one thought of him being one of the biggest rock stars ever when he speaks to you .the cottage Bron-Y-Aur is only a few miles down the road from us ,where they wrote many of their songs in the 70’s,the wynnstay hotel in the town is where they went for a bath and a feed as there wasn’t any running water as such at the cottage .in short a really nice bloke with no edge to him …❤❤❤

I live in Tennessee which is a state that he frequents because of his connection to Alison Krauss and Nashville which is known as Music City USA etc. He told Rick Rubin that when he has free time he drives his ford Crown Victoria down to Alabama and Mississippi to hang out with vintage Blues guys as well as exploring the origins of the blues. He popped into the Muscle Shoals recording studio not too long ago. He's supposed to be in the town I live in doing a concert next month. Now every time I see a Crown Victoria going down the highway towards one of those states I say in my head "Bob, is that you?"😊
When Plant and Robbie Blunt got together for Plant's The Principle of Moments record, that was some amazing music. The riffs are epic. That guitar tone is undeniable just like the vocal performances were.

May 1977 my 19 year old self was going to Great Lakes naval boot camp. There on the tarmac was Zeps airplane, outrageous paint job. Just seeing their plane made my year. Still have all their albums, remastered CDs also. Greatest rock band ever...🎉
I missed seeing my favorite band & my idol, Robert Plant TWICE due to tragedies.😢 In 1980, there was a full page article in the Buffalo Evening Newspaper that Led Zeppelin was back & all tickets had to be purchased thru the mail ( there was a fear of crowd crushing riots at ticket masters)...my money order was in the mail within minutes of this absolutely beautiful sound in my ears!! FINALLY...My dream has come true!!❤ Then, it was the most devastating experience in my ENTIRE LIFE ( I was only 21)but once again, tragedy struck again. John " BONZO" Bonham has passed on from our world. 😮😢♡ And the show was canceled... I was just torn apart at the seams with grief & despair. I cried endlessly for days ..into weeks. My parents were concerned as I became depressed & lifeless. My Dad brought home 2 amplifiers & hooked them up to a brand new Sterio & my idol sang & the band still played and the songs remained the same. ( RIP.."Bonzo"❤) I'm 60 years young & to this day...Robert is still my idol & 🎉nobody can jam like Jimmy... "Now DO It"😊 I know the lyrics 2 every song & can belt them out just as well. ❤ God Bless & thanks for letting me vent..it felt good. Now, I'm putting Achilles Last Stand on... ✌️

Robert Plant, like MANY other talented Musicians, has his own unique and eccentric sexy style and class. His band, Led Zeppelin, will always remind me of my Childhood. I have ALOT of memories of when my sister and I would spend time at my Aunt and Uncle's house. They had a dance floor in the basement with a neon floor, black lights and posters. This was 1973. The smell of Mary Jane and incense wafting throughout the room as my cousins and I would be running through the basement while the grown-ups played Pool Table. Laughter and Led Zeppelin (with other great music) and the wonderful pungent smell of Pot. I loved the inside Art of Zeppelin"s Album "Stairway to Heaven". I just had an "Eight Track Flashback". LOL 🎉😅😊😂🎉😮

I saw them in 1977 at The Capitol Centre in Landover, Maryland. They were there 4 nights. I saw the 1st show and the last show. Imagine me a young black woman having the time and experience of my life. I'm now 66 years old. I listen to them daily.
