Where do bad rainbows go? To prism, but it's a light sentence.

The rainbow "is" the pot of gold.

I’m desperately trying to put this up in my bedroom as a wall decoration (read: Floyd fan). Just not able to get that focussed beam of white light. Can you please help me out with something I can buy off he shelf. Or should I use a combination of lenses and make it.

Light the lighter and you will see the color of the flame without the prism.

What is the white light source in the first prism image? I'd be interested to know if sufficiently collimated light can be produced from an affordable artificial source...?

it may either be a laser light or it might be the Tyndall effect

The question is why is the "original" white light "SOURCE" actually several colors combined into one? Ask the right question to achieve the right answer. The light source is the Sun which is like the Moon. Two lights created as the bible says above the firmament of earth of which the sun and moon are luminary as there is water above and below the firmament of earth. Sounds are Frequencies as Sonolumenesence proofs how the stars above were formed. Each color has a sound frequency as well. It's all in the Bible of which man refutes but in the end always comes back to for UNDERSTANDING!

White As Alien X because Alien X have white ( Ben 10 Omniverse ). Black skin is also beautiful.
Prism As Contumelia because Contumelia can appear in any shape ( Ben 10 Omniverse ).
Red As Arishem because Arishem is red ( Disney's Eternals film ).
Orange As The Real Creator Of Galaxies because there doesn't have to be only cartoons.
Yellow As The One Above All because The One Above All is yellow ( By Jack Kirby ).
Green As Drago because Drago have green eyes ( Bakugan Battle Brawlers ).
Blue As Mr Litwak because Mr Litwak have blue eyes ( Disney's Wreck-It-Ralph film ).
Indigo As Rick because Rick have blue hair ( Rick And Morty ).
Violet As Ultimate Zeno because Ultimate Zeno have purple skin ( Dragon Ball Super ).

You have never paid attention to a musical Cd n front of a window; it also gives you a bunch of colors; and the light is not going through it like in a prism. It doesn’t look like the light is made of so many colors, but instead, like as it is weakened it turns into a different color. In fact, there are some switches that regulate the power of electricity; and with it, you can make a bright light lightbulb become almost red when most of the power is reduced on its filament. And from red will become orange, then yellow, and finally very white.

if you shine while light from a light emitting diode through a prism would you only see blue and yellow colours because white light from a led is made from blue and yellow phosphates? 🤔

Can you not just shine the white light on a CD first to see the kind of refraction you should expect out of a prism?

Nice illustration, except it's wrong. Listening to too much Pink Floyd... Light does not show distinct colors inside the prism. In, fact, the light leaves the prism white and only thereafter is distinguished by color, beginning on the edges and gradually moving toward the center. Goethe showed this conclusively 230 years ago, but we keep copying the same faulty diagrams, never doing the experiment ourselves.

Goethe takes into account the biology of the human eye, which Newton doesn't. So they are both correct: Goethe's from an artist point of view (given perception) and Newton from a Physics standpoint.

    The explanation is wrong.
The white light is also dispersed at the first air to glass interaction. White light does not travel through the prism and then get dispersed at the glass to air transition. The white light is dispersed at both air to glass and glass to air transitions.

There is one thing that you have might forgot to tell in you’re video.
the prism rainbow is not a rainbow but a rainline. which is not dome formation. but just straight…
Thats because the shape of the rainbow is always determined by the shape of the reflecting object.
Something that science never told us.
Our flat earth has a dome shaped firmament. Thats why the rainbow on earth is shaped like a dome.because the reflecting surface is dome shaped
Youre prism light output is just straight. Thats why the prism rainline is a straight line and not a rainbow.
    Science claims : light+Water=rainbow
And the water wil refract and BEND the light to a bow
Thats absolutely not true! You can easy make a straight rainbow line with water as refraction, and a flat surface glass or mirror as the reflecting object.
You always need a reflection to create a rainbow. And the shape of youre reflecting object will be the shape of you’re rain(bow, line, triangle).
Its not water that bends light. It only does the refraction of the light. The surface of you’re reflecting object will bend it!

Like most stuff in Internet has errors. Anyone wanna discuss? Prolly shut me down for trouble making like they did with Galileo. Example 1: the white light gets color dispersion at both entry and exit... not as stated only at exit. Example2: I would need payment for more. Guess this researcher got paid for this presentation by some eHow business. They don’t have the heart in right place or don’t have top personnel to distinguish good material from weak. Most commentators are like the congregation in the time of Galileo.

  • @colas_schretter
    @colas_schretter Год назад

The light is dispersed at the first entrance in the prism, then dispersed further, causing the well visible amplification of the angular-dependent to wavelength dispersion. You are telling your audience that there is no dispersion while the refractive index between air and glass change. The dispersion happens at the second exit according to your authority. The illustration seems to show that statement, while a closer inspection will reveal otherwise. By simplifying obviously - not telling the simple truth - you are forming two groups in your audience. The ones that do not understand anything at first will say "yes brilliant, this is simple and obviously right from the picture", but the ones that understood a bit of it will now stay astray, on the side of truth, and confused. Please remove or correct that video. Thank you.
