- Friday | Vlog 362 | I will sacrifice a lot for this goal but one thing is a nonnegotiable and I am sticking to it. If I fall short of my goal because of this one thing, I'll be just fine.

The Friday basketball decision makes sense for the reasons you mentioned. Yes you have set work goals for this year. But having a good work/life balance is also an important part of your wellbeing.

Hey Drew thank you for answering my question about your schedule, I know working from home gives you so much more flexibility, and it’s nice you can mix your work life with your personal life and make adjustments, your young and so personable, I think you working on your goal will be exciting to watch , it will also be interesting. I’ve been impressed with some of Cleo Abraham’s content. I don’t know her background, my sense was that something (connections or professional experience) may have given her an edge. Maybe I should watch that podcast.
I understand your prioritization of sports with friends. I don’t think that will make a huge difference in your job performance. The only issue might be if you can still call people back and do limited work remotely so you don’t loose sales. If you can take a few minutes to work on your phone while you are away from home that might help limit the risk of loosing a sale. I’ll still be very impressed if you make even half of your sales goal. That may be enough to support yourself independently. Even that would be life changing for you. Good wishes.

I don't think it will make that crazy of a difference either. I still plan to work Friday mornings and evenings. I am thankfully able to route texts to my phone so I can reply and get the basic info I need form people and quote them later that day. 1/2 my goal would be great too, but man what a story if I could complete the entire goal! Time will tell

Going to be very interesting for me to watch and see if you can reach the goals you have set working totally at home off the internet! Traditionally most agents have an office and office hours where they meet clients face to face which goes a long way to building referrals especially on the local level because you have that touch of personal service that just dont exist by dealing online with an agent who you have never met face to face before and may not even live in the same state or section of the country! Times have changed though I guess and if you are successful with your plan then you could play basketball at any time you choose and work at any time that you choose!😄👍
Very true, everything has changed so much over the years and especially with Covid, showing people they can work from home. I will certainly work hard to make it happen because you're right, if I can achieve this goal, I will be comfortable.

I know that my family, neighbors, and people that I know would never think of buying things like this online because of all the scams associated with doing so online! If anybody can achieve this goal though you can so I am pulling for you and interested to see how things work out!👍
Is there a minimum quota of sales that needs to be reached each week or month before the bosses get ansi?
Since I'm on commission only it's not like they're losing money on me. They care more about helping and developing me, looking into why I might be struggling or something along those lines.
