As a turtle player, the TEC Enclave is a faction that feels like it was made for me. There is an a planetary ability where your shipyards are basically building a PDF force automatically. They act independantly, dont consume your logistics and absolutely phenominal for protecting your backwater while your fleet is out conquering. They can also change their stance, like only defending the planet that build them, assisting conected friendly planets in case of attack, or even attacking conected hostile plantes, continuously. This is also augumented with an upgrade that effectively double shipyard production speed in case of attack. These guys are winning in case of defensive attrition warfare, and excel at steady planet hopping. Also, in late stage, the TEC Enclave can build up to two Starbases per planet. ^^
a great video. i loved the first game and was excited, but wary of buying this one due to games not being good at release. but after watching this and a few others, i'm happy to support Stardock and this channel by liking your video and buying the game! appreciate you bro!
Underrated gem of a game at the moment. The ease of macro management using fleets to build ships with just a couple clicks is honestly a feature all modern RTSs should be using.
The map admittedly doesn't move much in certain maps. Some morphs it's only further away stuff. Some it'll work around and provide flanking opportunities...etc. I say pick it up as it can be disabled if you hate it and it's not terrible as only a few maps rotate your first few starting worlds. (Rotation also happens pretty slowly so you can definitely plan for it)
I always turn it off. I loved rebellion and this one is pretty similar. It doesn't have as many options as rebellion did, like turning off minor factions, or a custom galaxy map, but it's still a really good sins game.
Vasari are my favourite because their space bases can move. The advent are still sort of pointless, I never used their culture gun. Their abilities are just not that great.
I played both. They are two completely different games. One thing I hated about endless space 2 was the way they stopped you from conquering the galaxy, that was dumb.
You can check out Sins Of A Solar Empire 2 here - nwzo.io/click/157jf//Arekkz

I mastered the first one, could I just pick up 2?
yes its literally the first but with a very good beefed up game engine

@@unlimited971 It had a colonization limit. When you go over the limit, you get negative happiness. Was really annoying.
