I just want to say you make everything clear in your video instructions and you dont put a list of items to start behind a paywall! I love your videos and can't wait to get into this craft!
I need to!! I will be posting something like that so soon. And it’s a weighted mandrel with sizing. I’d look at the rio grande online or check amazon! 💘
I absolutely love this video! I've been wanting to make my own jewelry for a while...now is as good a time as ever to start :) Now I'm off to watch your tools and materials video :D
When is a pick needed? Thanks to you, I've realized I have overcomplicated learning to solder. LOVE your vids btw, simple, straightforward, perfect amount of detail❤ beautiful work. Keep em' coming!!! Btw- my sons name is Brayden ☺
Like the pick for moving solder around typa thing? They work well when you want to hold the solder down but i don’t use it much, i prefer the tweezers. I hope thats what you meant. Also thank you! 💖
Hello! I found you on Twitter a while ago. I love your work! @alykat120 is me :) Jewelry is so cool because you can find little pieces to represent yourself and wear them all the time!
Dead soft is easier to work with and manipulate but I personally use half hard because I like to work with a little harder materials when shaping things so they hold together before soldering. After heating, the metal will revert to dead soft regardless. Both need to be tumbled and hardened in some way after heating anyway. Basically both work the same for metalsmithing purposes.
twitter @brinericksen I love how jewelry looks and makes me feel special, but my favorite thing is jewelry is gemstones or crystals in it. First of all they’re so beautiful but I love crystals and the energy they have. Wearing crystals or rocks and being able to always have them on me is my favorite part of jewelry
@htothe2ndpower I have always loved jewelry and stones from an early age. Wearing jewelry makes me feel confident. I love the history And nature behind pieces! My favorite stone is the Mexican fire opal
@its_kierstin_ I love how jewelry can serve as the perfect accessory to tie an outfit together. I love simple pieces and a little sparkle can make all the difference in how I feel. ♥️

Twitter: penelopro Your account has inspired my creativity. I tried to make my own jewelry awhile ago but it kind of failed. These tutorials make me wanna learn again!
@themslydia on Twitter and IG. Maybe I can use this to fix my braclet that the dog accidently caught his nail on when he was shaking my hands. This week has not been good - I broke 2 bracelets, and lost a cute keychain (but later it showed up on the sidewalk next to the snow that wss shovelled yesterday.)
Twitter is DWerkhoven I love jewelry because it’s a form of self expression, but in this case I think I’d give it to my grandma as we share the same Jan. 5 birthday.

Can I ask if you teached yourself or from where u learned from
What metal material would you recommend? Dead soft, half hard etc. For ring making?
Dead soft is easier to work with and manipulate but I personally use half hard because I like to work with a little harder materials when shaping things so they hold together before soldering. After heating, the metal will revert to dead soft regardless. Both need to be tumbled and hardened in some way after heating anyway. Basically both work the same for metalsmithing purposes.
I love these videos.
I dont know how you dont have more views than this. You have the best videos explaining exactly how to do it!
