Thanks for the quality video. If the indicator light is not working with fresh batteries, can i assume that the unit is no longer operative? it's about 10 years old and will not operate manually as well. Thank you!

Same question. If I put fresh batteries in, will the red light come on even if the sensor is not plugged into a solenoid? Can I test the sensor this way, by just holding it in my hands outside the flushometer and look for the red light to glow/flash? If it does not come on at all, can I assume that the sensor is dead? Thank you!!
