Been using F&B longer than you have been alive (ha ha j/k but probably almost) and you taught me something in that application video. I still prefer using a dry wedge sponge to pat it in all over, but in areas that need extra coverage, I do wait a bit and then go back in with an extra layer using my fingers now and that works great. Thanks also for trying the NARS... I have been wondering about it but will be skipping that one as well as the Auric products. Nothing really special that I can see there, but of course you make everything look great. Happy to see a video from you today. Hope you are feeling well 🌸
I swear if MAC discontinues face and body I will revolt! Okay dramatics over but seriously I finally tried it after watching your videos and it's the only foundation I've found that hasn't irritated my eczema-prone, ultra sensitive skin. Your recommendations are always fantastic for me and my problem skin and I absolutely love your videos 💙
Just FYI they are reformulating Face and Body and repackaging it- also adding new shades as well. Praying they keep the awesome formula and longevity and not screw up perfection. 🙏💕
@@kristenlandon796 I had no idea. I really hope they don't change it too much but they definitely needed more shades. I hope they don't change the package much either because I actually really like the squeeze bottle
If Face & Body is d/c I’m done, it’s so unlike anything else out there! Nothing is as sheer yet so buildable, glowy/skin-like, long wearing, transfer resistant ...I’d be so devastated without it 😢
Face & Body is one of my favorite foundations and I always apply it with fingers. I was using it incorrectly and you were the one that taught me how to use it. Beautiful!
I’m dying laughing at this cus I’ve been procrastinating washing my brushes since June and haven’t used them since, so YES I know from first hand experience a full face is possible lmfao!
You look SO much like Renee Zellweger!!!!! Also - would love if you could try more Korean/Japanese cream blushes! There are so many on the market (Canmake, rom&nd, A’pieu, Holika Holika etc), and I’d love to hear our cream products queen talk about how they compare with other cream products in the Western market. Thank you so much Shelbey!
Hi Shelby!! awesome tutorial!!' loved that no brushes were used excellent for mommys or anyone on the go!!! You look AMAZING!!!! ❤️❤️❤️❤️ hope your feeling good, bless you😘😘

And now I feel so stupid😂🤣 As a mom of 3 boys (well... Men now) I am so very happy for you both!! Its such a fun ride raising boys!! And love the video as always!!! Oh and btw... Your skin is looking amazing!!
*Shelby, do you have any insight as to why MAC is so ass backwards as it refers to their undertones (W for cool and C for warm.. ?!) To me, this is the most stupid and confusing way to categorize their shade ranges considering EVERY OTHER BRAND does the complete opposite. Any information you may have on the subject is mighty appreciated!*
I think I talked about this back in the day but I honestly have no clue 🤣 I just accepted that I would have to choose the opposite from what my undertone actually was. Luckily I can almost always get away with NW or NC 😬
@@abigailshetler I used to explain it this way to people but the official coloring according to MAC is “Neutral Warm” and “Neutral Cool”. I had a MAC employee tell me once that to simplify for customers they would say “Not Warm” and “Not Cool”.
F&B has been in stock each time I've checked! And it always says "best seller" so I'm hoping that means it'll stay. I haven't found the best shade match (trying c5 next) but the formula is amazing as well as the fact that you can get the 4oz bottle for $40. The average foundation is 1oz so you're basically getting 4 foundations for $10 each when you get the big bottle!
Kids, work sometimes equals finger application 😆 but mine never looked as polished as yours. You look beautiful 😍 I'm so glad you tried that sky high mascara. Looks nice. I was just looking at that last night on target. Yes please. Thanks Shelbey 😊
Love how this showcases a person who knows how to do makeup, and products that actually work. You look stunning, so good at pairing tones together, I’m really learning from you Shelby. Also the eyes are like a “mature sparkle” a La Jamie Paige but still so sexy and glamorous!
I adore you! You look as gorgeous as always 😘😻. Love this technique. So simple. Love the lip color. And you definitely needed the second blush color. Beautiful ❤️.
In your opinion, do you think applying foundation disturbs sunscreen? I don't wear foundation but I am so tempted to try Face & body. Do you think the rubbing will impair the sunscreen underneath? I always think about this even when applying my blush and bronzer etc.
Thank you so much for the shades explanation ! I wanted to buy the Face and body but since the stores are closed now due to lockdown I had to buy online but got overwhelmed. I couldn’t pick a shade!
So since it’s linked, I am assuming it’s not being discontinued?? I hope not!! I pulled it out again and forgot how much I liked it! Did you find an answer? If it’s being discontinued I need to get a summer color.
I just went to Mac yesterday. And Face and Body is about to be totally revamped, repackaged, and reformulated. They’re going to update their shade-range which will make things so much easier instead of C for cool which “also means warm...?” 🙄 I know... But that’s what the lady at the counter said.😅 I believe the lady at the counter also mentioned that they will be adding a white foundation mixer to the range. 👍 Edit: NVM! They had a white shade mixer already. Lol
That’s great to hear the shade expansion. They already make the white F&B which I kept in my kit for years but it was sold as a pro product and not readily available at counters. It was a life saver for those lighter than N1 and C1 🙌🏻
I was wondering if you could recommend anything for extra sensitive eyes. I have tried couple of brand names eye make up products/ eye make up removers but nothing seems to work for me. I have severe allergies and dryness. Everything disturbs my eyes. I can’t even wear contact lenses. Help!!!!!
I have the same problem, and had to give up contact lenses, and switch to glasses. I realised the "fallout" from powder shadows were a major irritant. Basically every time I blinked, tiny eyeshadow particles were falling into my eyes. Switched over to cream shadows, and liquid eyeliner (was using shadow as liner previously), to cut down on the "fallout", and things improved.
I also have many allergies and sensitive eyes. I found that if I stay away from formulas containing bismuth and carmine I do quite well. The LM Caviar sticks in Khaki and Sugar Frost work well for me. I’m going to experiment with some Kiko Milano shadow sticks now as they have a similar formula and are more cost effective. Hope this helps some.
@@MC-ko2mx thank you so much for your response. Yeah my eye make up joy just turned out to be a nightmare. I just need a brandname recommendation that works for eyes like mine. I would go for cream shadow sticks, over those in pots, as I think the waxier formula makes for less fallout. Oh, and I also recommend using a tubing mascara. And of course, I would always manage to get some remover in my eye, making them even more red and irritated LOL

I believe it was you who said in an earlier video that NC generally meant "not cool" and NW generally meant "not warm". Mac shades finally made sense.
Yep - that’s how I used to explain it to people because MAC calls NW “neutral warm” and NC “neutral cool” when in reality, it’s flipped!
