In today's video, we will take an up close and personal in depth look at the 2012 Mercedes-Benz E63 AMG with the new Biturbo V8 powerplant. During this presentation, we will take a 1st person look at what the car is all about beginning with the start up, performance data, fuel economy, the occasional track data, and build quality. Also, I will teach you how to use most of the interior and exterior features in a detailed fashion, that before, you could only get from going to a dealership yourself! Throughout the video, I will highlight key styling and unique differences about the vehicle, any available options, and of course it would not be an enthusiast car video without the good ole engine portion with rev and exhaust note with interior and exterior perspectives. A thorough tour/review of this car designed to give others a greater overall appreciation of the vehicle.

***** I do like the performance of the new E63 S though, its got AWD and the power figures are amazing. But the new styling does take some time to get use to.
I have a mercedes also, and I can say that this 2012 E63 is last real Mercedes. I like Mercedes because they have 4 eyes (front headlights). W210,W211 and this W212 have it. It's just different from other cars. BMW also is a different car because it had 4 eyes also and last bmw was E34.
youaintgotnopancake lucky you. The split headlights are quite unique. Some people don't like them but I think they're very cool indeed. Although I love the performance of the new S-Model but I think styling wise this one is the best E Class AMG ever.

Definitely like this "pre-facelift" look over the later updates. Valve train noise is still very prevalent. Nice review !!.

A lot of people tend to hate the pre-FL W212 E-class, but I think it looked better than the FL model and I dare to say that it looks better than the W213 E-class.

I love this car, I own a 2011 E 350, I'm thinking this year buying my second car will be a 2011 or the 2012 E 63, but I prefer the white one. Black looks beautiful.

I like exterior of the pre-facelift version of the E63 more than the new 4matic variant. This one looks more edgey IMO.

I have so many opinions about this:
1. I love Mercedes. And AMG even more.
2. E Class is one of my least Mercedes
3..... but this car is still amazing. Its gorgeous, and it has the best AMG V8 exhaust in my opinion.... well maybe S63:)

Actual E63 AMG's are pretty rare in my country but all E-classes have the body kits until you either hear them, check the engine bay, or look at the gear selector. Only 2 for sale in the entire country right now.
AMG cars are amazing!! I have driven the CL55 AMG and iti s a BEAST! This one is even more fierce!

yes I love the sound of the AMG engines!!! When it spits water out of the pipes when revved up it reminds me of a vicious dog barking at you with slobber flying out of it's mouth each time it barks at you.

I do have a question...is it true that all the late mercedes, have the key smart access but you can also take out the start/stop button and use the key for ignition. If that's the case can you demonstrate it in the near future... THX

Has the cast nodular iron and the 9310 grade steel been worked out wi the 2012. Thats a big issue with the 2007-2011 63AMG engines? Class action lawsuit actually. That ticking sound at the 6:50 mark reminded me of the previous issue.
The acceleration in these cars is absolutely phenomenal. I've driven several, and only stabbed the accelerator once. OMFG.
I seriously thought that this 5.5 BiTurbo was going to sound weak but damn, sounds pretty brutal, I love it :D
I used to think Mercedes-Benz were over engineered and I still believe they are but goddamn they sure as hell can build beautiful machines.

The M5's S63Tu can only wish it sounded nearly as good as M157 V8s. Not to mention the Mercedes looks nicer inside and loads more luxurious.
