When you mentioned WGtE having Greater Dragonmark feat options, were you referring to the one feat pertaining to the Greater Abberant mark?

Yes, partially - but there was also originally a feat by the name of "Greater Dragonmark" on page 110 & page 111 of Wayfarer's guide, it appears that was removed from a later revision of the book after Rising from the Last War came out.
I seemingly hadn't saved a copy of the new version and kept only the old one in my files, or I would have mentioned the change in the book. The updated version of the PDF only has some dragonmark illustrations in its place.
It doesn't appear the dmsguild.com archived the older version of the PDF alongside the revised one like they do for some books, so I don't believe you'll easily be able to review the old version - but it's not particularly compatible with the updated versions of the dragonmarked subraces - in short, it increased the die-size of the intuition die, increased an ability score, and added two known spells, with a free casting of one of them. The subraces at the time did not include the spells of the mark feature, and the intuition die rules were pared down greatly, including the rules around die size changes, which is why this feat was removed as not working with the updated subraces.
Sorry if I caused any confusion!

@@eberron_arch That explains why I've heard more than once that the two core books contain(ed) Greater Mark options. I'm looking into stringing a Fledgling Mark up to potentially a Siberys mark as outlined in Morgrave Misc, but haven't found where to look for the Greater Mark stage yet.

Thanks for making these videos! On the subject of Siberys dragonmarks, I think it is worth mentioning the Siberys options offered in Exploring Eberron, even though Exploring Eberron is kanon and not canon material, as it is one of the most recent publication on the subject by Keith. But since you mentioned Morgrave Miscellany I don't see why you wouldn't mention Exploring Eberron. :)

The reason I left out the siberys marks from Exploring Eberron is primarily because I completely forgot they were there! It likely didn't stick in my brain when I was reviewing material again before finalizing my script because the option is not set up as a standard player option, and more as a DM reward on how it is received (with that sidebar on how to allow them to choose one replacing a feat or treasure) - but I will write something up and add a note to the video description as well, so thanks!

@@eberron_arch Yeah, I guess there is so much content to peruse with the kanon/DMSguild content and the older editions, not to mention Keith's blog/site and the Manifest Zone podcast, it's easy to miss something! We're only human.

I never noticed how the Marks do look like Dragons in the way you described. I do have a question I've never seen a good answer on; A House Orien member with Teleportation Circle, how many locations do they know at first and how do they learn more? Can someone just go to a single Port Station and read a House book of all locations and can port to every city?

the 5e Teleportation circle spell gives you two locations automatically - I see no reason to change that - either its a magical intuition for it, or if you're a member of the house, you may have randomly seen a couple of circles before actually learning how to cast the spell and those sigils stuck in your brain - As for sigil books - Off-hand I cannot recall any canon mention of them - especially since they didn't exist in D&D 3.5 since teleportation worked quite differently then. They almost definitely do have them though, but would be carefully protected trade secrets. Orien may also run a few "public" use circles, that have a usage fee upon arriving - but this is just speculation plus I believe Keith Baker did some writings on this outside of the books that has stuck in my brain.
