I find the car looks amazing, not sure how many people agree but, the Exhaust is so much more quiet compared to the older model.
Yes you are right with the exhaust. I had a 17 plate 45 and the exhaust sounded much more meat in it's sound. I now have a 20 plate 45 s and it sounds different. One other bad point is that there is no cd player at all just a USBC socket for media player.

Just got one of these in the UK. Agree with most things in this video, it is a heck of a machine.
Disagree about noise levels though, on rough tarmac the tyre noise is loud. Otherwise, can’t fault it.

I got the performance package and yes very comfortable
And yes you can both heated and cooling seats in climatised package option which I have

I shut off after the opening scene when you tried to magnify the exhaust sound in the car park.
Only thing this car needs are better brakes. Speaking from owner's perspective. Less than 2 000 km in and they're already pretty much unusable. Nothing in comparison to the C63 when it comes to braking equipment. Maybe a carbon ceramic system in the future will do...

This is my dream car to start with. The new BMW M3 Competition is also out of this world but is £30 000 more. The price for this ones is more achievable.
One issue I have, perhaps someone can help me out here. Why is that this car is only in automatic version, isn’t that takes away the pleasure of driving !?
You do have the shifting paddles behind the steering wheel
It has too much power for a 6 speed manual. You need the fancy gearbox to get the 0-60 times.

Probably by making it about twice as expensive as most other stock hatchback performance models.
It's a great car, but it's about 80.000 Euros if you want one with all the good packages, like the one shown here.
You can get the Civic Type R for half that and that is considered to be expensive for a hatchback.

They got ecu map out already good for 469bhp & they have announced another package involving modified turbo & new exhaust outputting 592bhp. I’d just pick the ECU map, just so I could better another A45s

First, chassis is crap, if its just as fast or even a bit slower on the nurburgring then the honda civic type R, and that car has more then 100hp less then this! Second, the reliability sucks. Mercedes hasnt enough experience with tuned 2.0 engines, the EA888 from VW can take 500 hp with ease... And third, this thing cost wayyy too much for what it just is, a 2.0 hothatch!

It has come to my attention that nowadays Mercedes makes the most impractical and unnecessary cars. 421 bhp from a 4 door hatch is completely unnecessary. One can't even use 421 bhp on most roads, for except racing tracks and the Autobahn, but the Autobahn only exists in Germany. With a comsumption of easily higher than 10L per 100 kms and a relatively small tank, you can't go far without refuelling. But no doubt, it handles well and its supercar fast for nearly 70 thousand euros. Not worth the investment if you ask me. The A35 makes more sense, but the more I research, the more proof I find that its the slowest from the '300 bhp hot hatch' competition.
