The OST come originally from the Star Wars movies, the musics aren't new.
Composed by John Williams, London Voices, London Symphony Orchestra
"LEGO Star Wars Music" "LEGO Star Wars OST"
The open worlds in newer LEGO name are well and good, but nothing will beat causing a small war in the diner after collecting enough characters.

SO TRUE
The Shotgun Gamer I remember starting massive bar brawls in the Lego Star Wars 2 hub world.
The bad thing in the new lsw games is the dubbing
that remains my favorite part of the game
dexter's diner should have been an extra in the complete saga
noisynugget Yup... 💔😪
They were originally going to do that but they didn't for some reason. :(
It should have just been dexters diner who has nostalgia for the empty ass cantina
@@FrenchFryCheese04 Aw man, that sucks. It would've been cool to switch between The Cantina and Dexter's Diner in TCS to wrap up the game trilogy on a neat little Figurative Bow.
@@StarGamerX17 it can be modded in potentially
You missed out on a awesome game if you didn't hear this as a kid
In fact, I am playing it right now, so I had an awesome childhood and now I have a good teenhood since I am 15 and I played this when I was 6 so I am awesome
I played the complete saga - does that count?
Yeah, not necessarily. Tons of nostalgia for the diner, but playing TCS sort of counts.
Nah I played the complete saga
You kidding, I played this every Saturday morning when I was a kid until I got the sequel. Then it was a question of "which one do I wanna play today?"
Looking at that cover and hearing this music brings me back to 2005-2006 when times were good

What fascinates me about this music is how, with very deep concentration on it, I was able to flashback to my 7 year old self for a few seconds. It was infuriating when the feeling went away, but it's almost exactly like a brief glimpse into the past, as if I'm watching a film of me from so long ago... I have only been able to do it once, and it was when I was playing the game and I positioned Obi Wan at a very precise spot in the diner. Somehow, that exact image mixed with the music brought about an old memory of me playing this game in 2008 (or somewhere around there). I can't even begin to describe that flashback, because I forgot it almost instantly afterwards.
One thing I can tell you is that this game is especially dear to me, and is the absolute epitome of nostalgia for me.
Man that hit home! I think it’s time to brush the dust of my old PlayStation 2. I might have to see if I can find a copy of this game on eBay though. Mine got all scratched up years ago.
Xelous Yeah, my copy works only when it wants to. Had it since I was 6 I think, and I didn’t really understand the point of taking care of your discs at the time...
I also got a flashback to the age of 7 (2005) when this was brand new....
@@MaxFPSGamer emulate it on your phone or computer! gamecube emulation is very common now and requires very little in terms of hardware
Nathan White it’s not the same though. It just doesn’t feel right.
So relaxing... Played this game from age 5-8 then never touched it again until age 14 and now I'm 15 and I have the biggest passion for Star Wars

@@roybucket4169 I class it as one of the happiest times in my life
I spent days playing through the demo, when I came home from school one day and my dad bought the full game for me and my lil bro was probably one of the best memories of my childhood
Those of you who want the real song, its from Phantom Menace OST named Anakin's Test. It's the other half of the song.
The whole aesthetic of dexter’s diner in this game just felt so comfy!
Episode I memories:
"Your highness. Senator Palpatine has been nominated to succeed Valorum"
I'm fast to answer. Hehe.
"A surprise to be sure, but a welcome one."
Yep
Fun fact: The sounds in the background can also be heard in the Cantina in Star Wars Galaxies.
Nothing beat playing this game on a warm summer evening with fresh air filling the house and nothing but the sounds of my ps2 and this game. Damn I miss those days
They need to put this in Skywalker Saga. The music, the location, the everything. Even if it needs to be changed in some ways.
I so agree
It's so sad that this didn't actually happen
@@Pyrooogenic agreed. But I still had a rush of nostalgia coming back to where it all began.
This feels like music that should be playing when you walk around a college campus.
I’m listening to this while walking when the sun is setting at my college right now.

Dexter’s Diner in Lego Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga - ruclips.net/video/nFf_HIPDW0Q/видео.html
So many hours spent destroying cylinders, moving chairs and smashing wine glasses - not to mention the cantina song machines. The best part was that each episode room had a different vibe, Episode III in particular with the dark lighting in its room.
To be honest, that is my favorite room in the hub.
Listening to this music makes me wanna cry. This game was pure childhood. Nothing but nostalgia written all over it. I remember getting Lego Star Wars way back when it was new. I was 5 at the time. I think my parents pre-ordered it for me. You know, me and my sister played the entire game together. We spent trillions of hours trying to 100% it. And we succeeded! We also managed to unlock the door with the question mark. When we finished it, heard Lord Vader's breathing and saw the text "To be continued...", we looked at each other with big smiles. Knowing that we were getting ourselves a sequel. Good times, good times...
My favorite part of this game is that when you're outside of the Diner, you see the other playable characters fighting each other. I always got a kick out of seeing everyone kill each other, it was very enjoyable. Me and my sister even fought each other so we wouldn't feel left out. LOL
One thing I never noticed until I got older is that this game kinda has child abuse. I mean, we got child Anakin running for his life from enemies like Jango Fett & Count Dooku, and child Boba Fett just standing there getting murdered by heroes like Obi Wan & Qui Gon. I'm all like "What the hell?! This game's got child abuse?! Jesus Christ..." But still, best game from my childhood. **chuckles** Now at the age of 18, I am grateful to still have Lego Star Wars with my PS2 that is still functional. I'll never get rid of it! 😄
Such relaxing hub music. I actually tried putting it on when I tried to go to sleep. It worked a little bit.
0:51 "Don't defy the council, master. Not again..."
"I will do what I must, Obi-Wan."
You will try.
I just recently found this in the lego Star Wars the complete saga files nostalgia hit me like a truck
I remember a bug in the GC release that if you go outside or back in, the music gets louder.
I’m about to be 20 years old now, this music still gets me happy like it did when i was a kid. I’m happy to share this memory of playing this game w so much people my age growing up is scary and sometimes i like to come back to the things that bring me back to a time where i didn’t have a worry in the world.
I know how you feel man, this song brings memories of pure peace and serenity of childhood
I remember my friend used to bring this game over to my house when i was young and he would always tell me the game needed to "cool down" after 4 hours of gameplay. I now realize he was getting bored. But my parents eventually bought me my own copy so i could log hundreds of hours into it myself... good times
I’m crying from Nostalgia. I played this game when I didn’t know a dang thing about Star Wars.

Played this so much as a kid, I'm 23 now. Time flies.
Miss this game, I used to play it with my younger brother all the time
You hear the first notes as the camera slowly pans through the diner...
I can remember coming to my dads house and turning on the Xbox playing this all night the memories
One of the great lessons of life is to *be where you are* from a mental perspective. Even something as insignificant as playing a Lego video game can be a worthy memory, or as someone else in here put it, walking on a college campus as the sun is setting. Time moves forward, we all get older, and things change. Therefore, we shouldn’t wrestle with the past or the future as often as we do, but rather appreciate the tiniest sights and sounds our daily lives bring. We’re all going to the same place.
Please return for LEGO Skywalker Saga
Oh the memories, the memories
Thanks for introducing this to me when I was so little dad
I will never forget these sounds or music as long as I live
One of the songs of my childhood. I’d always wander around the Diner, unlock cheats with codes I found on the internet, and pick fights with Battle Droids.
Lego STAR WARS The Video Game PS2 is only the beginning of their journey into the galaxy
THIS is my childhood. Everything in this game. The music of the hub. Thecharacters. The lego sets. I wish I played with them as a kid. I mostly got the clone wars stuff when I was a child. I so SO wish there was a way to change the complete sagas hub to this one or atleast its music...
2:11 Ughhh!!!!!! 😩👌
I just remember floating around in Yodas chair
Did Mozart compose this or why is it such a masterpiece?
John Williams has that effect on people.
The next game has finally been given a date.
hope to see everyone here playing it
Well, whaddya know!
Obi wan!!!
So my friend, what can i do for ya?
I love this game
Me too
Here's how skywalker saga should work you should have different hubs for each trilogy:
PT: Dexter's diner
OT: Mos Eisley Cantina
ST: Maz's Castle
WWV4U hell yeah
WWV4U definitely!
feel sad man. this reminds me of being young again.
Even though I didn't own the game (my cousin had it on his PS2), I'm still amazed by the special things about the game that make it different from II and TCS. This theme and hub world top it all off because it feels like a foreboding of what's to come, while also feeling like a flashback to a forgotten world.
A surprise to be sure, but a welcome one.
Nostalgia
Bringing back old memories
I really wish this hub was in complete saga
This music is relaxing!
I believe that this serves as a main menu type of place in the video game. Dexter's Diner is actually located on Coruscant.
Very relaxing and nostalgic, good music to just vibe and game to. Been thinking about picking up the complete trilogy on Steam for old times sake, nothing will ever beat this original box art cover though.
I'm tempted to hear the undisturbed ambience in wav format...
This open world was better than The complete saga
I have to have listened to this song for over 10 hours of my life. Crazy to think about
I hope this is a theme in the new lego star wars
My introduction to the franchise

The new open worlds are really cool, but there was always something to walking around the small hub. Nice music, starting fights, fun times

My Head:
Surprised they never made a Dexters Diner set. They remake so many sets that you think they'd make an original.
I love the musical score. Perhaps the Dexter’s Diner location should be the main location in Lego Star Wars The Skywalker Saga
I hope they bring back this hub in The Skywaker Saga I always found it cooler than Mos Eisley
Same
THIS IS EPIC
I was listening to this song at full volume in my computer lol
It fell so real
This game was the game that kick started my obsession with star wars
So depressing compared to the Cantina musick.
My favorite theme of the game
I have just checked in my Lego Star Wars Complete Saga Music, and I have found that there's Dexter's Diner Inside and Outside Music Files. But strangely enough there both not used in game.
Childhood dude! Ugh! 2005 what happened to you
I never really liked the prequels even as a kid, but this game was fucking dope
my favorite hub world. so nostalgic, the literal definition of nostalgia right here. way better than the hub world in lego star wars the complete saga, don’t care if nostalgia blinds me
i loved the skywalker saga but it's a crime that this song and the old yoda death sound aren't in the game
This goes so stoopid hard🙂🏴☠️🦓🦀🐢🤠🔥🔥👍
What’s this original score called?
It's in The Phantom Menace called Anakin's Test
Remember going outside as a sith trying not to get shot? Remember having dartg Vader and Honda as your favorite characters remember playing the a new hope level
Spelling error yoda is spelled Honda
This should be the Battlefront ll (2017) menu music
Nostalgia 👍
This better be in The Skywalker Saga
They could put Dex's diner into The Complete Saga at least as bonus interior
This was also going to be in the complete saga but it didn't make it
Samuel Hardy if they remake it with 7-9 this should be in it
@@tidefilms3160 yes
I remember this theme from when I was still a fetus. Good times.
Despite what the description says, this was not composed by John Williams. It does not appear in any of the Star Wars films. It's actually composed by David Whittaker, who I think also performed the grunts in the game.
Edit: Minor spelling/grammar error.
Edit 2: I was wrong, which was probably obvious for a lot of people. The piece is actually made up of samples from "Anakin's Test," which was composed by John Williams. I should probably delete this comment, but who cares.
Not composed by John Williams? Try listening to "Anakin's Test" from the Episode 1 score.
@01matok I listened to the track, and it seems you're partially right. The hub theme does use samples from that track, but it's not the same. For starters, the hub's theme is much shorter. Second, parts of the original piece have been removed and then re-edited together. Something similar would be done in Lego Indy 1 for the university's theme.
There has to be a titled release of this somewhere that tells us where in the actual star wars movies it played :O
Does anyone know what it’s actually called?
Ren Eye Anakins test
In the Attack of the Clones
there was only one scene where this restaurant debuted. Crazy the acknowledged it. ❤ 1:03
