Nothing will ever beat that video of Ayrton Senna heel toe braking in loafers around Suzuka in an NSX. Pure drivers car.
No doubt my friend , the king Senna 🏁🇧🇷.
Loafers are always comfortable on manual cars. Are you new to manual?
@@lolowong439 mentally ill comment
@@lolowong439 Comfortable but definitely not the best for performance driving
@@lolowong439 I think it was just a comment on his casual nature. Even his attire was business casual yet he tore up the track like it was noones business. Cope and seethe.
No artificial engine noise, no annoying burble tune, just pure smooth revving engine :)
BMW has left the chat
The burble tune is NEVER annoying. You must be crazy
@@TheBasher-_- Burble tune sounds fantastic if you are 10 years old. If you are older and you think it sounds good then you need to look at yourself in the mirror
If you have a full exhaust there’s not much you can do to get rid of burbles. Tuning isn’t all there is to it.
@@Teddingtin Yes there is. Look it up. BM3 can kill the burbles in any mode. Even with dp and exhaust.
Loved that he gives the Polestar 1 a thumbs up when that guy is probably happy to see an NSX
could not think anything id not want to drive, re badge volvo owned a lot by china and ccp. a volvo without a 5 cylinder you need a engine sound no matter what engine, ev so boring without sound of an engine and gears and bit like doctors waiting room/ kids toy
Love the car callouts. Polestar 1’s are all over the place in the Charlotte area. NSX is great too. Sounds epic
Wow that’s wild! They only made 1500 so to see multiple in one city is rare
Zollotech?!?!
the NSX is an absolute beast, and this video surely proves it!
oh hey fellow car enthusiast and gd player
@@henrystechandstuff6334 oh hey fellow car enthusiast, tech enthusiast and gd player i supose as well
Even i have a hot wheel
@@techgaming-on4wg what car guy doesn't
@Md915 [GD] I love it. But it's just nostalgia. 30 years later and a budget sports car like a brz will hang with it.
11:02 that shifting is so perfect. The RPM just rise and fall on the right time on every shift just like in Gran Turismo.
Nice incline hustle
Still one of my favorite cars of all time. Absolutely gorgeous even by today's standards
I'd rather have that NSX than a new Corvette and I'm a life long Chevy fanatic.
The 90's Chevy's copied these Japanese designs anyway.
My dream car ever since I got Gran Turismo 1 back in 1997. Would absolutely love to at least drive one someday. It’s such a raw and amazing car.
Playing the original Gran Turismo back in the day was also a major catalyst for my brother and I. We've both been enthusiasts ever since, also helped that our Dad is also an enthusiast.
I had a 91 CRXsi, the beeps were exactly the same! Man, I really wanted one of these, but at 22 years old couldn’t afford it. Honda were at their very best back then. That interior is perfection.
All hondas have that unique beep my acura TL even has it
Ive been waiting for this video for quite some time now. Thank you. Nothing beats the sound of a C series
Anything for you Cosmo
Ditto. I'll never be able to afford one, especially since they are going up in price. Video's like these are amazing with a great set of headphones.
I have to thank Honda for the NSX because I saw one when I was 4 years old and its the reason why I am into cars
Going through that tunnel at the end was just insane! Great video as always Mr. Tedward
Glad you enjoyed it
My dad and I always loved the NSX. The first generation with the pop up headlights was something to die for. Been looking for clean examples for awhile.
Not gonna lie, I’ve always appreciated the old NSX, but I never really thought about every wanting one. But when I bought my Integra in February, all of the sudden I’ve been thinking about nothing but Honda, and I’ve really grown to love these cars.
One of the greatest cars mankind will ever see... long live senna
What a pleasure to watch! The rawness of the drive it is really apparent. The rip through the tunnel is epic!
Great Video, great driving. A 100% pure analog driving experience in arguably the best all around sports car ever made. THANKS TEDWARD. and thank you for that last rip through the tunnel!!!
My son bought a used 1991 NSX with about 120,000 miles on it many years ago. I drove it once and couldn't get over how close you sit to the front of the car. In stock form, it hauled S!
He eventually went through 3 suspension setups, full length headers, modified close ratio transmission, two sets of wheels/tires, larger injectors and a roots type supercharger. That thing had really insane power all on a stock bottom end block.
You can boost these up to about 450-500 wheel before even modifying anything. For 1990 that's pretty impressive.
Of all the cars you've driven, you have finally driven my absolute favorite car in the world... of all time... EVER!! I will probably never even get to sit in one of these - let alone drive one - so THANK YOU for this video!!! 👍👍
Love the camera placement! Must be thought to see what's going up ahead, but that is why this is the best channel!
Senna driving the nsx is what made me want one. I hope that someday I will own one and take it to the touge going all out. Great video as always and keep up the great work.
THE SOUND!! The sound the sound the sound the sound
Omg finally, one of my favorite car reviewer reviewing my favorite car, great job tedward amazing work.
Wow, thanks!
These older cars look and function a million times better than all the new cars that are like TVs on wheels.
man like tedward never fails. Always good videos , fantastic car is the nsx . no driving aids , just driver and veichle!. :D
Just about all 90's Japanese sports cars have that amazing view, no hood, just the road in front of you. Same experience with my 300ZX.
Impressive driving 😎 I would be scared to drive in a location like that 😱
I’ve been really enjoying the canyon pov’s!
you must have seen senna driving the nsx type r it was a prototype with a much higher rev limiter ; that was the best nsx video i saw the way he drove it was so smooth and lovely and your video comes second to senna's video.
thats how good your video is.
Drool, we never got these in my country but been a fan ever since I saw my first one in a magazine, a very underrated car
Fascinating coincidence, I was thinking about a POV drive of this generation NSX...
...and now it's here.
Good day. 🥃🗿
those strange days when life proves to be a simulation haha
@@TedwardDrives Word. 🍷🗿
Now to wait when a W140 S-Class will show up for you to drive. 😁
can always enjoy a raw car, just you and the vehicle, no dry and boring assistance tech.
Always a good day when Tedward posted a video💯
Another great video tedward it’s a Massachusetts skill
OH BOY! I’m in for a treat! Thanks Tedward!
My dream car, I plan to own one in the next 10 years for sure. Thanks Tedward!
You can feel how amazingly perfect that shifter is through the video. The engagement is second to none, nobody ever produced a better manual 30 years later
Great engineering, great looks, great sound, great road.
You are so fortunate to test drive one I dream of doing the same to at least experience it! 🏎 I saw a black one here in France in the south east at a Japanese sport car event yesterday I am jealous lol!!
Dream car of mine. Great video
just woaw, thank you Tedward!
That looks so fun to drive!
Nice video. I started playing RFactor 2 on PC and they have several NSX's available to drive. The minute I started driving them I noticed that the steering lock was also very large and the wheel has to be turned quite a bit to make corners. Cool to see that it is a relatively accurate depiction of the real cars!
Japanese just know how to make cars 💯💯 wish they made them like this again
Awesome car and equally awesome video
That sounds awesome.
One of my favourite cars
I used to drive these roads frequently in mine. I miss it.
I think the steering being heavy may be because of the aftermarket wheels/tires. It shouldn't be _that_ heavy. But I've been in some that feel quite heavy, until the owner changes tires and/or wheels. Fantastic cars, though, love my '92!
@@bwofficial1776 lol no, the nsx has an amazing suspension.
Great video Tedward! Maybe it's time to try its contemporary from Maranello, the 348...
That momo monte carlo n red horn button tho ❤️
Looks incredible.
Love the NSX, part of my dream garage
This car is a masterpiece, very underrated and still cheap for the car that it is...very unique experience, in my opinion.
That rawness reminds me a little bit of my (much slower) Honda Fit. :-) Awesome car!
It's been a month now that i've been driving manual transmission, thanks to you i'm able to learn more from you. Any tips?
The same MOMO wheel just arrived in the mail, can't wait to install it on my s2000.
Tedward makes the absolute best pov drives of any youtuber
Wow, a scenic and very good sounding drive. Would be funny to do the same in a Renault Scenic (it's a french Minivan xD)
Super video. Many thanks for sharing. Ayrton Senna helped in the development of this car, & I would not be surprised if he wanted it to handle like the Mclaren F1 car with its raw steering.
Just got the new Tedward stickers in the mail while watching this!! Aww, a handwritten envelope - thank you! 😄
Can’t wait to see where you put ‘em!
@@TedwardDrives keep an eye out! 😉
the second car i fell in love with
Loving this car ❤
Amazing 🤩🤩🤩
My all time favorite car
Back in the day, I had the chance to buy an NSX for $25k, which was beyond my reach at the time. Coulda, woulda, shoulda!
beautifull sound :O
I remember this car in GTA SA Game's , i always Driving with this car's. Engine sound was impresive.
Didn’t know the nsx had a manual rack, I love my manual steering in my 88 fiero gt
That is one hell of a creaky interior
the dream machine!
Legend
incredible car!))
I remember the same gauges in my moms ‘91 accord 2dr 5sp I learned to drive manual on. Red line wasn’t that high though
amazing car
I'd love to see an NA2 featured!
Thanks for this glimpse of heaven.
dude so sick
I guess I'm old school.own 6 motorcycles nb Miata and Maxima...both stick.
Thank you for taking us for a ride in a car I probably won't ever afford 😂
8:58 the slightly wider wheels and tires.
and probably a strut brace
My arms got tired just watching the video.
Looks and sounds awesome though, and I guess the lack of power steering gives an awesome raw driving experience
My dream car!
Love the video, but why do you shuffle the wheel so much here.
Also was this latigo canyon road? Feels very familiar.
*Cool Car*
my god, I love so much this car... Here, in Argentina, does not have any of them... there's only one
a green on brown leather NSX is my ultimate 90s dream car
This and the Porsche 911/GT3 has always been my dream cars
It was great to drive them back to back that day
@@TedwardDrives oh I'm sure it is, must be enjoyable as hell. Anyways, love your content Ted, don't stop making these
Same and the dodge viper
Gonna go home and drive mine today after work. Love the sound of the C30/C32 engine.
Key in ignition to start, no buttons on wheel, manual, non turbo, no power steering, lightweight, pop-up headlights, reliable... these features are dying out or dead and I'm gutted about it.
I have watched the video without blinking and man I can confess that I'm about to explode from raw envy of you on that road, on a weather like this, with this car and no traffic, that's a real men's wet dream, you lucky bastard😉
That’s not the original airbag wheel , it had horn buttons and cruise control settings
@@LiteEmmUp it's true, but tell me you don't prefer this Momo Type R style instead
That's my dream car! That's the reason i got my 2010 Acura TL-SH AWD 6mt. It's the closest thing I'll ever get. I've been loyal to the Honda/Acura brand all my life. It'll be nice if you can review the 2005 NSX. I'm sure they made some improvents in the steering.
Would have loved an AWD tl with the 6 speed. Was hard enough to find an accord with the 6 speed though, but awd would be nice for winter
@@trashbandit2449 6 speed Accord is rare and also nice! I prefer naturally aspirated engines. 6mt TL's shows up foer sale once in a while, you just have to keep looking. The problem is they're so rare these days and when you do find one you have to grab it.
@@AcuraPerformance I haven't looked too hard lately but I don't think I've seen an awd 6mt combo for sale come up ever. But yeah I got lucky finding the accord as well.
Yours is j35 right? Or j37
@TrashBandit 24 it's a j37, j35 is fwd. It's only a difference of 25 horsepower.
@@AcuraPerformance didn't know they had a different engine for fwd/awd for those. Yeah I'm mostly happy with the factory j35 power. Every now and then I'd like more but it's plenty for a daily
I know they sell fast racks for these and If I were the owner I would switch to said fast rack and I would probably try to setup some kind of electrical assist. maybe one of those column assists like some newer cars have.
i love this car
These go for almost as much as the new ones
gotta compare it to an sw20 now
Ayrton Senna had a lot of influence over the development. This explains the anger in the car. It wants to be hooned but will punish the driver for his mistakes. What a car
5:33 scared me thought he got snap back from those mid engine set ups
Would love to see a contrast review of the NSX compared with the RX7. Considering both, such great cars, though very different flavors.
the C30A vtec engine almost sounds like Lamborghini Countach. Beauty outside, beast inside
This my dream car
