Pfft. Used this video as a base for a rendering I thought I was happy with and was blown away at how much better it got. Awesome work, Esben! The value you're putting out for free for everyone to learn from is inspiring!
@esben, regarding the wish for blueish shadows. Instead of using Interior lighting mode, but keep using Product Mode, and then on your Ground material (Advanced material) tweak the Ambient colour from black to more blueish, then you can tweak your way to a similar result with much faster rendering scene (at least in my case). Your opinions is much appreciated ;)
how can I add hdri as the background while working in sun & sky mode? because the moment I shift from image mode to sun & sky mode the HDRi disappears.
Super useful and realistic Esben !! Couldnt try it because my Keyshot crashes when I click on "Sun and Sky" button. Do you know why maybe? Thanks a lott !
Don't know exactly. They render using two different algorithms and the interior mode seems to favour more colorful shadows. Not sure what's going on under the hood :)
Its use full GI illumination, when product mode cut it off for faster renders in product design, I prefer custom setup with everything enabled (caustics too)
I´m curious about the exterior results (for example a glass builfing in keyshot, tried to find some examples, but there´s not. Great tut Esben. If all works, maybe i will use keyshot on work in future.

Hi Mchris222 - thanks for the suggestion! Always nice to have several options for achieving similar results. Cheers,

or it just works on background backplates?

Hello Esben,
can you explain this difference of shadow colors between "regular" mode & interior mode, why does it affects the colors ?
Thank you

Hey man, Great videos! Can you do a study on rendering E ink displays with png images mapped to a flat surface? That would be awesome!!!!
Thanks Matthew.
Any particular trouble you have mapping png images?
dude make a tutorial interiors lights please.
and nice video.

Is the scene available to download ? thank you
Don't own the model and textures, so can't share :)
I have only 4 cores in my computer, do u guys think that can decrease my renders quality or realism?
It won't decrease render quality or realism. It will just take longer to res up and slow down your workflow a bit in general.
