Nice review. Mine is in sunburst with a maple neck which I love. It gets equal play time with my 2011 American Standard in Olympic White. Build and play quality on both is really great.
That heel cut goes back to the 2004 Deluxe line. And I may be the first to say that the two new tones accessible through the push-push pot are pretty much useless. But, thanks for the licks.
It shouldn’t technically be floating. It’s a one way trem but I have the bridge set slightly high so it can be floating. Ultimately this can lead to tuning instability and set up issues but if you just dial it in it is fine

Those are two great guitars! Happy playing
Do you think you will do any modifications to it?
If I did, I would change the pickups. The stock stuff is totally fine but I think some Seymour Duncan’s would take it up a notch
Very good instrument for the working musician or amatuers it's just really good!
I couldn’t agree more with this comment!
Thanks for showcasing a strat and not just playing funk and SRV type shit. You covered it all!
Thank you for watching. Very grateful you enjoyed it

Why do your friends give you crap for floating your trem?
