No more tedious rebuilding of the same sections. This is a huge time-saver and will open up so many creative possibilities. Can't wait to see what the community builds with this!
I’m still yet to know, and this is important to me. Does the modular copy and paste work with Mirroring? I’d assume it does since it’s told to “work like its own block”
I hope this system works in survival as well. As in, you get the blueprint for pasting onto your build, but you still need the total starting resources for all the blocks, and then still need to weld the whole thing up. I'd love this system put into survival. It would make pre-fabricated assemblies that much easier to mass produce and get right every time.
It'll make Creative mode less painful too when you accidently target that one key block. Of course, even an "undo block placement" won't also wind back time as far as the physics goes ;)
I got Blessed with it for Xmas. Full package and can't wait. As someone who got in on SE1 alpha this is gonna be a different kind of nostalgia and a whole new world of potential wonders
This is a great little change! One of my biggest issues with space engineers is the challenge of trying to build something as a noob in survival. It often takes time, have to keep running back and forth for the right mats, energy and oxygen, and has the potential for catastrophe when you disconnect the wrong thing. If I would go out of survival into creative to try to design something, it completely killed the immersion for me. I love actually trying to build design something while worrying about food or attacks and what not. Can you please let us design in some kind of "Blueprint" mode which will let you attach parts without running around for mats. I remember designing a storage system and wasting an ungodly amount of time running back and forth with mats, deconstructing and reconstructing large storage like a hundred times. Also, the projector is sweet but I think grids should have built in memory. Nothing is more frustrating then to have something cool you built get damaged and you can't remember how to fix the corner.
Survival is gonna be pretty different then SE1, i think i heard that they plan to add a projector building mode or something like that, so you just have to weld it afterwards.
@@alexgrimm354 We technically already have that. Where you design a ship in creative, and have it on a projector in survival and weld it. I think this new system is just going to be a little more advanced. I just hope we don't get sub-blueprinting for survival, or well, I don't mind it, if we have to still weld it. But justplacing a full complete sub-blueprint would ruin survival.
Survival's difficulty should be about interesting gameplay mechanics and fun challenges, not about fighting a tedious user unfriendly interface. I'm all for the new easier building system.
@ Thats not what survival is lmao. "fighting a tedious user unfriendly interface"? The UI was fine as long as you actually understood it. The problem was a lack of AI, weapons, and game performance. Not UI. If you struggled, you simply have a skill issue.
@@AOD_AnkGrooger The fact you talk about "skills" necessary to navigate a UI tells a lot about your lack of comprehension of what the actual purpose of a UI is. Keen themselves have aknowledged that it needs rework, and if you play any other UGC game you can easily understand the point I am making.
The real question will the work in some capacity in survival or so we need to just cook the blue prints and weld them up . I'm indifferent but I would like better building tools in survival
@@ifthenelse7956 Basically you'll have the option to "build a projection" in survival mode without the need of any component to place blocks that won't have physical presence until you weld them. Similar ti switching from survival to creative mode on the go.

This is NOT a "demo". It's an Alpha. Respectfully, please read a little on Software release life cycles (Wikipedia) before making comments that will only embarrass yourself.
Don't be alarmed, but marketing like this is common. Bite-sized clips like this help people understand everything offered. Besides, we got the longer videos already. Chill out.
They need time to develop everything, and by getting us the community in as early as possible, we are able to help shape this game, we already have changed their approach to the workshop. Keen Software House are great devs and a great community, they will actually use early access. and 3 years is not that long for early access, especially compared to the first one or even other games such as grounded.

I like that this will be in the game, but I hope for survival it’ll still need individual welds.
Дааа… можно было бы ещё между мирами, сохранённый в буфер обмена контент, переносить, то цены бы не было 🤤

honestly so hyped that modular building seems to be the core of this new building system! i’m all for it
Is that LastStandGamers as the voice? Is this an official video? What am I smoking?
hes now working for keen
Dude, i was thinking the same thing, had to look at the uploader's name a few times cuz i couldn't believe who I was hearing

LSG is one of the ways I found SE1
A fundamental, game-changing feature. Personally, I am excited about the Ctrl-Z undo/redo feature, which will save my bacon.
i love how i always see your comment less than 2 minutes after an SE video drops xD
@ notifications on ;)
Idk if you know, but there's mod for CTRL-Z for SE1

@kacpergames1606 yeah but its still have some limitations

I just realized thd logo your using for Space Engineers 2. Instead of just the one engineer, he now has a friend behind him, so no there is 2
Having just spent 2 days building a small grid ship with different sub grids on each side I cannot wait for this
Wow, a truely, vastly improved building experience. Impressive
This is a great little change!

that ram always breaks my heart!
Finally! No longer assembling parts separately and painstakingly puzzling them together into a potentially working ship!
The ships in this game are gonna be wild
I'm gonna buy when survival comes out. Love u Keen keep up thegood work!
Why do i feel like there will be many unwelded parts on our ships when survival comes out😂
Aaaaa I love this collab with LSG! I'm hoping to stream SE2 on release day!
Is there a mirror feature with modular copy and pasting?
Heck yea
Workshop about to be wild
Getting Arron to do voiceover work; when he's been stealing Workshop entries for no credit for years is certainly a bold choice
So hyped!
Ich frage mich wie beliebt das Game im Deutschsprachigem raum ist :)
The 27.01 is allready in my Calender
Ich freue mich auf jeden Fall auch schon! Hoffentlich erlebt das Spiel eine goldene Serverzeit, wenn Survival rauskommt
Ich liebe das 1. Spiel!! 1300 Stunden, das zweite wird nur besser!
Those ships are going to be large & dead-on detailed via Space Engineers 2.
Really hoping that this modular copying also copies any settings on the blocks
Nice to see LSG narrating!
I wanted to ask who was the narrator, great voice choice for sure.
great VO
I hope ya'll already have Splitsie recording tutorials for the SE2 alpha (:
Awesome, race everybody to the first blueprint!
I don’t preorder games as a rule. But this is looking very good.
No more decoration blocks… Truly, times are changing.
Like SE 1, I'll wait for them to add realistic mode before I buy it
We need the multiplayer on release
Can I cut and paste myself, or do I still need a medbay for cloning purposes?
Rumor has it that the medbay is currently non functional, and you’ll need to conserve your soylent reserves.
Dear developers, I really hope that you will add folding landing gear to Space Engineers 2
I am hoping this isn't part of survival. Still need that challenge and grind :)

❤❤❤❤
Is this LSG??????
just work on multiplayer, most important aspect of SE
They already have worked on it. You'd know if you watched the streams haha
The LSG?!
When will this game be released on xbox?
Take my Money!!
Not doing Early Access, I'll buy the game in 5 years once the v1.0 release happens.
Will Space Engineers 2 be available for Playstation 4 or only for the new generation, like PlayStation 5?
I'll ask again, will we see this on console anytime in the next 10 years?
Aaron?
Is space engineers 2 coming to xbox?
give us demo
