I'm a Christian but i have great respect for Jain culture, this concept of non-violence towards all creatures is very beautiful and i also love the idea of pure vegetarianism i just had a vegetarian meal today and it felt so good, I'm very influenced by this great tradition 🙏
Vegetarianism is the best thing, I have adopted. I was a harcore non-vegetarian. I met a friend who is like my sister now. She is pure Jain. But level of intellect she has was something beyond amazing. She do all the rituals, like dhyan and paryushan n all. She changed me at the next level. I have started following lifestyle like her. I don't eat non-veg anymore. Planning to drop off onion garlic. But can't leave potatoes and sweet potato like stuffs. Apologies for that.

i respect every community although i am a hardcore non-veg. we need peace and brotherhood among us. not war. although i eat chicken,beef,mutton, camel, deer, every kind of fish, crabs, lobsters and all which is halal for us. i like vegeterian dishes too. but i always try to avoid sweets. when i visited india, i ate dal dhokli, khakra, dhokla, jalebi fafda, papaya sambar and mirchi fry. i also ate litti chokha, vada pav, mutton pav as well.
It's good that purity and satvikta of the process is maintained... However just one suggestion... Salt is super integral in food preparation.... Either a monk should add it to food or let people add salt to their food by themselves... It's been a tradition to serve salt seaperately specially when a langar sits... This tradition has been prevalent since vedic times... Even today in villages it is followed... Salt is very important carrier of sankaras... It affects a person to the aura level... This is why eating salt of someone has so much of importance... The person who adds salt to food should be careful choosen...

Every form of life has there independence to choose what they will eat or not, and that is to be respected, not criticized.
