    Great video guys! For me, I use a cd box with sleeves for the cards as I have 4 of every squad (having collected Heroscape from day one) and about 12 master sets of terrain which makes any storage method bulky.......

      We love the modular storage boxes, but the more our collection grows the more space is needed in our living room.

    Why do you cut off the flaps of the army card (cd) sleeves? Wouldn't the army cards benefit from a 360 degree protection?

      @hexhalla  5 месяцев назад

      The cards don't fit in our binders if we didn't cut them. I agree that keeping the flap, and sealing it in some way would offer more protection, but it is pretty common in games with cards for the top to be open. Maybe you could double sleeve, to solve that?

    I’m new to this game. What the hell is up with the unit cards(shape). I hate them so much.

      They definitely lend to a logistical nightmare in terms of storage and sleeving. If you aren't a fan of the hex design, the community has created a standard deck size for the cards. You can print, and laminate those, and never have to look at these cards again.

    I have my cards in CD sleeves and they don't fit into a standard CD case with the sleeve on. Are those sleeves you're using just a really snug fit?

      With the cd sleeves that we are using we do need to trim them a bit. Also when trimmed they only fit in one direction for the sleeve into the cd binder, so orientation does matter. - Adam

    I have the same cd binder, it works great!

      A part of me feels like a 3 ring binder with CD sized inserts would work better. You could more easily sort the pages, and not have any empty slots. I am still on the lookout for something that works.

    I actually got that exact case while collecting Marvel Battleworld and love it but it wasn't working for the cards. I'll have to use the CD binder and sleeve trick for that as well as Heroscape

      Yeah, we love that binder. We hope it works out for you as well as it has for us.

    Thanks for the video! I recently found your channel and am loving what you're doing. I love the drawers you found for terrain. I might get some. I have a rather excessive collection (assuming you think it's possible to be excessive with Heroscape!) so the system to store it required a bit of thought. It is divided into "loose terrain" and "bricks."
    Bricks comprise the vast majority of it and each brick is a complete terrain set (RoTV, SoTM, FotA, etc.) assembled into a rectangular stack with a large rubber band around it. The rectangular stacks are usually the size of a two 24-hexers linked together and vary in height depending on how much terrain came with a given set. (But all RoTV are a certain number of levels high, all SoTM are a certain smaller number of levels high, etc). Sets that didn't include 24 hexers (e.g., Marvel, FotA, small terrain packs, etc.) have a different shape, but all are designed such that, they all fit PERFECTLY into Bankers Boxes. There is nearly no wasted space.
    Because of the rubber band, the brick can be handled as a complete unit, so if I grab an RoTV brick, I've got all the terrain that came with an RoTV master set. With this system, I can quickly pull (for example) 2 BftU and 1 RtFF terrain sets if some map requires that amount of terrain and build the map.
    The (non-brick) loose terrain is miscellaneous stuff I don't have stacked into bricks and use for playing around with and building ad-hoc maps and such. That's what I'd use the drawer you've found for. Anyway, thought I'd share what I do, at least for terrain. Figures and cards have their own system!

      Rowan and I are envious of your collection, and thank you so much for sharing how you store your heroscape! If our (never enough) heroscape collection gets that big we might need to revisit.

      @@hexhallaWell, if you've got specific wish list items give me a holler and I may be able to help. I'm always looking to help build the community and if you guys keep doing what you're doing there is potential for big impact for the community!

      We love them! We have 3 of them. One that is split up into our learn to play armies, one for all the other figures we have, and a hopeful box waiting to be filled with Heroscape.
