Some tips for those out there.
1) focus on the colored gems first. Get those, then focus on the boxes. Some levels won't need the colored gems to collect all boxes
2) After clearing the boxes, collect the relic, so you don't have to go back and play that level again.
3) Memorize the levels, some of the levels have shortcuts you can use
4) For the bridge levels, USE THE ROPES. It is a tough strategy but you can cut some time and skip a lot of headaches for one.
Following these tips, it took me about 12-15 hours to platinum Crash 1

Haha I did exactly the same thing. Took me 5 years to platinum. Came back recently to clean up the trials. Doing Crash 2 now, 15 relics in and so far it seems easier than Crash 1. Good luck!!

Same here. Honestly nothing in Crash 2 compares to mastering high road
i remember i first played Crash Bandicoot Warped on my PS2. However, I didn't have a PS 1 memory card so everytime I turned off my PS2 all my progress would reset. Such dark times for a young completionist.

Working towards getting the platinum trophy on all three games, plus CTR, for a second time on a new account. Fair play mate, I was a bit of a sadist and went for plat relics on all levels too. It's rough!
I went back for the 100% trophy list, and it took me like 7 hours to get a gold relic for Stormy Ascent. Having a much easier experience going for the Crash 2 plat right now.
I might do a mini video on stormy ascent. You and others have mentioned it is hard 👀
Tip for The Lab if you ever go for platinum relic. Before the room where you had to wait for the tnt to explode, there is a scientist.
If you hit the scientist at the right angle, he will fly through the door and blow up the tnt for you! :)

Good work mate these games were my first 3 platinum trophies. frustrating at times but i loved every second of it. with Crash 1 my first gold relic was Slippery Climb followed by Road to Nowhere then emboldened I did High Road. With those ones done everything else felt like mopping up the dregs, even Native Fortress and The Lab to a degree. I know it's a bit late for advice now but Sunset Vista has a pretty low gold time so you can afford to take your time on it. Well done!

There’s this age old trick for the high road levels where if you can jump on one of the side ropes of the bridge you can use it to bypass all high road levels from time to time you might have to jump down on the bridge but it’s more of a quick second jump to bypass the parts or the rope you can’t traverse then back on the rope do this and the high road levels become pretty easy
Yeah I tried that for a while and it frustrated me way more than playing normally lol that’s why I didn’t end up doing it like that on my final run
Love to follow you on this! I manage to complete the game as a kid but I can not Finnish those insane levels without dying. Road to Nowhere was super hard but Slippery Climb was the most difficult one for me! 💜

Man, that's commitment. I'm literally playing through crash 1 collecting the odd trophy but after barely making it through a couple levels in general I know that the relics aren't happening for me.

I still haven't completed this trilogy either. After 1, I wanted to take a break. Then I've almost done 2, and I feel like I want another break after this before 3.

The intro is on point Sunset Vista and High Road took me more at least between 4 and 8 hours each.

Recently started to do this one actually, and Im just watching ya video, and my god is it the hardest plat ive ever tried to do bro. I have souls-like and sourlsborne games on my list that wasn't nearly as hard. Although I like to punish myself so I decide to do time trials after I've beat every level, that way I still have the levels in my memory.
Respect to you for keeping your cool on camera, but I cant help but scream, punch my table, slap my head, get annoyed, sad, probably cry a bit and just get mad for almost every time trial. (May have an anger problem, who knows?).
Souls games aint hard to platinum but the games are hard af in general

There's only two difficult levels really, slippery climb and stormy ascent. The others shouldn't take you longer than 20-30 minutes trial and error.
Glad to see you got the Platinum Trophy. i am in a similar situation. Got my last Trophy in 2018. But getting 27 Gold Relics is way too hard for me, or at least that's what i think. Hopefully SOME day i will get this Platinum Trophy also...
You can do it! I’ve recently gotten back into completing games fully and earning platinums and trust me after some practice, it’s very very doable!
Patience and practice is what helps.
I was able to get all platinum relics besides Stormy Ascent, could only get gold :(

First time I watched you on YT is when you platinum Crash 4 and it made me inspired to get the Platinum trophy on that one. Last time I played it, July 2022 and I got burned out after getting plat relic in Cortex castle. But after watching you it made me want to go for it again
I got so wrapped up in getting the platinum relics that for a good month every time I’d hang at my best friend’s house I would bring my ps4 over and just run through time trials while attempting to make conversation. Thankfully we are still friends.

Fun watch. The trilogy plat took me 30 hours and I'm pretty sure half that time was spent on just relics. I forgot how tough some of Crash 1's levels were.
Thank you. Seriously, Crash 1’s time trials were difficult. Out of the 4 main Crash games, you have to be the most precise with your jumps in this one

Should've gone for Stormy Ascent gold, it counts towards the 26 you need, you get the DLC trophies and you avoid the High Road = )

i put myself through the torture of getting platinums on every time trials on c 1 2 and 3, stormy assent dlc on c 1 was so hard i spent a full 18 hrs trying to get it, the time wasnt too bad but it was hard to not die, well done though. thats such a great feeling, i am working on c4 at the moment. only have 5 platinums at the moment out of 38

Today I got PLATINUM on Crash 1.
Hardest level was High Road, but what helped me A LOT was using the rope 1 quick time. The second time just run the whole section on the rope until you get the time bonuses. Then just complete the level as you should be. Once I figured that out I had it in like 1 hour.
The Lab was not hard at all actually. Jump 3 times before you start running and you will pass the first 2 electrothings without stopping, saves you so much time! That's what killed you so many times lol.
And yes. Sunset Vista was a HELL too. Actually the other levels were not too bad.

I found the high road harder than stormy ascent or any other level. Jumping onto the ropes was so bloody hard. Watched your videos and got all 3 in 10 weeks. Some levels had me for hours chasing gold relics. Thanks for your videos my man they made me realise it can be done. I was going to walk many times but stuck with it and got my platinum trophies so thank you. Seeing you put the hours in helped me so much.

After 20 years of playing this game I'm going for the N. Sane platinums. I just started today and Native Fortress' time trial is kicking my ass 💀 this is gonna take a while

Fun fact: you are supposed to jump on the turtle and then bounce on it once it flips over. You kept spinning it and that’s why you couldn’t make that jump without jumping on the rope.
Congrats tho man it’s a pretty difficult plat. I got the plat on the whole Crash trilogy and am currently going for the Crash 4 plat!

Around 25 to 26 secs, for "The Lab" you need to spin the science lab tech throwing potions into the TNT. You cannot sit and wait for the TNT as that is a huge time waster. I was able to get 45 secs and THIS close to getting the platinum for that level (platinum is a little under 45 secs). I have gotten platinum for every level in Crash Trilogy except for The Lab and Stormy Ascent (both levels of Crash 1).
Ain't real platinum without that frustrating bonus level where you climb a castle

Hi Bro, pretty nice content it was funny to watch. Just ONE BIG ADVISE lol : you can actually just jump and run on the ropes to skip entire portions of the level XD it's not that easy but easy enough to be done and save your ass and have an incredible time right away hehe I have been playing these games since i was 6 back in the day and I know pretty much anything about the game, and in my little opinion i would say take more of these chrono boxes it helps so much and save sometimes 10 sec in the end, 3s box is almost an obligation to destroy if want plat relics.
I know for sure I would've struggled on the ropes lol thats the strat I tried before I quit on this game! I came back and played it the normal way and finally got it done. Crash 2 almost done too!

If you go for the stormy ascent trophies which include a time trial you can skip high road relic because stormy ascent relic will count for the 26 relics you need for the platinum. Good video btw
I found that out later unfortunately lol but I eventually got stormy ascent done and future tense!

The original Crash Bandicoot never had time trials for the first two games, which is why they are so much harder than the 3rd game. The levels were never designed to sped through. Congrats on getting the plat; I know it is something I'm never going to do.

just got all 26 plats lets go i love everyone here, my voice is gone completely from yellin but its worth, final time on lab 44:67 after so many tries, what helped me for the plat was at the end you can spin jump to far tnt and long jump to make it right to the end. cheers everyone

For some reason I didn't feel complete till I saw 100% trophies when going over this game, which requires you to get the gold relic on the cut level stormy ascent. That level took me 18 hours to get this trophy, my fingers were destroyed from all the dpad mashing.

3:34 men Sunset Vista took me 8 hours at least to do it, I hate it so much !! I was a bit stupid because I always tried the perfect run and ended with the platinium and I think I coule have gotten Gold if I at least in half the time
Crash 1 is probably my hardest plat I have. Legit spent hours on the high road, native fortress, sunset vista and the lab. Still haven’t managed to do stormy accent and probably never will
I have to go back and play Stormy Ascent! I’ve never played it once yet and it would help to get the 100% completion
the funny thing about the bridge levels is that you can run on the ropes and just be done there in 5 minutes :D

As someone who also has this platinum, I know your suffering all too well. The last level I got the gold for was the lab because I just did them all in order. Sunset vista can burn in hell.
I didn’t know how much I would end up hating sunset vista… did you end up going for the other crash game platinums too? Crash 4 is my favorite now haha
This is kinda funny, as soon as I get my platinum trophy for crash 4 so many videos of people going for crash platinums get recommended to me. Nonetheless, Good job!

Sunset Vista was hell. I struggled so hard on that level for some reason.
Granted the trilogy is a challenging set of games to platinum but they were relatively easy for me in my opinion. It was fun throughout.
Overall I had a lot of fun. Ended up making a video for each game because of it. Crash 1 had some really challenging moments.
I have no platinum relics and I’m so confused, it seems like you lost a lot of time on some of these levels yet still got platinum where as I feel like I’m constantly running and getting really good runs without the hiccups and I still barely get gold most of the time! This game is infuriating man congrats
i played crash on the ps1 and i would say that the first half is kinda doable but the diffacultuly spikes in the second half are actually insane
I agree. The lab, high road, and sunset vista are probably the toughest ones and kind of crazy

My girl and I began to play crash but we stopped at the first one and I bought her crash 4 lol but she began to try to beat all levels perfectly because I mentioned about collecting platinum trophies and she got hooked but I might try start back to finish crash 1 and so forth lol

I have been recently playing again all the crash games in pc now and when I was playing on ps4 the relics where imposible for me.
But now that I´ve been playing on PC SOMEHOW I GOT EVERY SINGLE ONE ON THE FIRST TRY (Except from some levels in Crash 2)

I've got my footage of sunset vista on my channel, it took me a day and a half, then on the final day I got the platinum first try, just over 3 minutes and 30 seconds.

Personally I found everything easy to 100% like gems and gold relics but stormy ascent is what broke me

Not late at all, glad you enjoy the vids no matter when I post them 🙂 Crash 4 is definitely harder than crash 1 but it’s still much more fun.
I've finally 105% Crash 1 today, all 27/26 gems (including Stormy Accent), all Colored Gems and keys, and ALL PLATINUM RELICS (except for Stormy Accent but that level can go f... itself).
Yo congrats!! Are you gonna do Crash 2 next? There are some UNFORGIVING levels in Crash.

achieve it is very difficult, but the really pain is obtain the platinum in Crash 4
I think that is better go to hell than obtain that platinum, you need to achieve all platinum relics and also complete every level of the game smashing all the boxes and without die in the same time
If you don't achieve it, i ask you to try it and after give us the video

Took me 8 days for crash 1. Took a break before going into crash 2 but i need to get back to it
I hate they don't even give you the courtesy of cheats to use after finishing the game
