    Thank you for the extensive testing on the TMC. I was under the assumption that prior to remapping power, it gave ability to remap the gearbox itself ? I'm more interested into shifting gears faster / maximum responsiveness without changing stock power levels. Were you able to test that ?

    • @bhvrdr
      @bhvrdr  2 года назад +4

      Thanks for the comment. The gearbox cannot be modified without a flash tune of the tcu or transmission control unit and none exists for this platform. Waiting on a dragy but until then I’ve been using an OBD measured 0-60 and it seems to have made a noticeable difference. Will look for flat safe areas to get a 1/8 trap or a 1/4 trap speed soon

      @@realestateeric JB4 won't void warranty, it's a piggyback. It alters signals to sensors to make the car think it's hitting lower boost targets than it is so the PCM compensates, hence higher actual boost levels. My Jeep Wrangler has the same engine, I went from running a 14.5 bone stock to a 13.5 after bolt ons, methanol injection and JB4. I picked up an 8-10mph increase in trap speed. This is all on 94 octane pump gas too. Stock they make about 230-235whp. My Jeep put down 333whp on a roller dyno. Thats 100whp gain. I also dyno'd it without the meth and switched to another custom map I made for no meth and it still put down 315whp.
