In botany anything that bares seeds is a fruit including peas, peanuts etc.... so things like carrots, celery, lettuce which are roots or stalks are vegetables

Lemon juice doesn't work too well but if save the pit and store it in with your guacamole, it will preserve it much longer than other acidic methods.

Just from tasting my first avocado It reminds me of egg white and an quite vegetable taste. Tinniest hint of sweetness.
This guy is the good with something else with it but too tame by itself. Salt wasn't bad and now I've made a fruit smoothie with protean powder.
I'll try making guacamole with the next one.

Unknown. However, my guess is that you still can. The seed begins splitting apart as the tree grows.

Hey man, do you use organic produce at all? I would recommend ALL organic produce, it will improve you health TREMENDOUSLY. I also recommend juicing a lot of fruits and vegetables! REALLY good for you, especially different fresh greens and herbs. Berries are also amazing :D

Not safe to whack the pit on your knife blade - I use a paper towel and safely grip it and toss - use the same paper towel for all your avocados that you're going to prep.
