I saw an amateur fashion show once. The catwalk was literally 4x8 plywood panels nailed together and sitting on saw horses then covered with what looked like a tablecloth. Of course, the models were amateur too. One model; who obviously had never modeled before and while pretty was a little too wide in the hips for a model became overwhelmed by the attention. She got to the end of the catwalk and stopped and stood and looked at all the people looking at her. Smiled, turned, bent over and started booty grinding to the audience. This happened! LOL. It was so ticky, ticky, tacky. The designer ran up and pulled her backstage. He was so embarrassed afterward that he didn't come out and take a bow when it ended. SXSW 1989. True story.

I dont understand why if they keep falling in the same shoes they dont just rip them off! Sure the shoes are probably expensive but so is surgery for my broken feet!
I mean usually u dont just break ur foot while stumbling on shoes...and it would be kind of awkward to literally bend down and remove them and walk while having “not as pristine” proportions than the other models around you..AND you always pray you wont stumble again after already stumbling so theres always that sense of hope brewing inside hahaah

I think that's why people post things like this. The media makes it seem like models/actors/actresses are perfect. This reminds us that all people make mistakes and we don't have to feel bad when we do

You know what I love about Sasha? Even though she had issues adjusting her jacket, she still manages to give off some fierce poses towards the end of the catwalk. The girl is just freakin' amazing! Oh, and does anyone know what show Mariacarla Boscono was walking at 5:48 in the video?
what is the purpose of wearing a sky high shoes if its risk to blew the show? it might injured the models. plis if the shoes is stable enough this thing wouldnt happen. what if it broke their legs or knees?
I guess you have never worked on a runway, but Ive worked as a makeup artist on several runway shoes & these models have to indure things that unfortunately make them fall and/or trip. They are given too small or too big shoes, skirts that are too long or too tight on the bottom, very slippery or uneven runways, 6 inch spike heels w/ little to no skid resistance, heel-less shoes with little to no support, alexander mcqueen armadillo shoes,no practice in the outfits and shoes they are wearing.

@classymanwhore It could also be the texture/ style of the runway, some runways are stupidly slippery or hard to walk on, but I really do agree with you, its like, if you cant walk in them, dont bother being a model XD

I don't have to work on a runway to know how big/small their shoes can be. Once again, this video is made just for fun not to point out anyone's flaws, even the best ones have tripped on the runway like Natasha Poly or Jess Stam. For god sake, 0:19 are not even high heels and the rest of girls wear the exact same. As a model you have to walk in whatever the designer decide you have to walk in (armadillo or loafers). If you don't want to, find another job. That is when super models stand out.
