I watched the whole set on Coachella’s YT channel and Tom Sounded great, and hardly made any mistakes on guitar, and the stuff he improvised suited the songs much better than they used to. Throughout the whole set Tom played like he wanted to be there. Which was a lot different than we saw the last few years he was in Blink. It’s a great set and I recommend checking it out. A few songs I’ve never seen them play with him before too.
Be patient, they'll come down. I thought the same thing when John re-joined the Chili Peppers and I just saw them last week for $87. And for good seats too, not the nosebleeds.
Seeing this I'm glad I paid for it and I can't wait for my show. This is the closest to the old school Blink182 we'll ever come to. It's like traveling back in time.

Taking absolutely nothing away from Matt Skiba, there is simply a unique magical chemistry between Tom and Mark, like Jagger and Richards, Plant and Page, Tyler and Perry.

It’s crazy to think they’ve stood the test of time as well as they have. Like when Enema of the State came out, Blink was suddenly on MTV all the time. I couldn’t believe my favourite band was super popular all of a sudden, and you could tell they felt the same way. Their early awards show performances, or playing live on MTV they were so young and almost bashful. Now they’re fucking legends. I’m so glad they’re back together and having fun again.
Okay, so they cancelled the Mexico and Latin America tour on march this year 'cause Travis was incapacitated and unable to perform so they postponed it to 2024... but they played in Coachella already. Thank you.

Blink should do an EP of rerecorded hits like Dammit, What's My Age Again? and even I Miss You that they could improve upon either because the songs are old af and the band has matured, but also because they've added some much extra flavor to a lot of the hits when played live. The angst that they captured in Mark's voice on Dammit will always be legendary, but I'd just love to hear how a 51-year-old Hoppus would revisit that song with modern recording techniques. Maybe it's just me?
The reason Tom didn’t like being there before was because he missed his daughter. He didn’t like being away from home. His daughter is grown up now so he gonna be happier being on the road again. Then again this show is close to home for him. Let’s see how he handles world tours 😅
I saw Rage Against the Machine at Alpine Valley 2006, that’s the best show I’ve ever been to. The energy here though, would loved to have gone. Damn, missed it.
