Great video once again! When it comes tp hacking turrets, any patrols will be alerted if the turret is down, can store the hack until the human patrol is down (or the AMP is alsp hacked).

AH HA!!!!! That's the key, making sure non-mech patrols are dead... I hacked the turrets and then moved to the other side of the base and set them off in what I hoped would be a diversion, but they started shooting at me instead.

The hack works on all AMP variants :) The only thing that doesn’t always work on the most elite AMPs is the one hit to break the glass and pull the pilots out. But you can still stun them with the SID hacking tool and then target their weak spots whilst they can’t move
Im a ways into the game and some nights Ill stay up all night long just trying to figure out how the hell not to die each time those RDA CANHEADS alert the whole base and 1hit kill me. So this tip might be my only hope Obiwan!

@@bmac9539 you’re welcome! As far as I know you can do this technique on any AMP, regardless if they are heaps higher In level than you. So far I’ve been able to do it on all AMPs I’ve tried it on. Only once it didn’t work but the AMP wasn’t higher in level, I think it was just a bit of a bug that the ancestor skill didn’t activate properly. I hope this helps!
You can HACK all those things? The moment the grenade AMP suits showed up I figured it was impossible to perfect stealth. Since killing them causes massive explosions and alerts all of Pandora. This should be pretty helpful. Thank you
I tried you method and it worked fine so far except for the armoured rda amps. I jump them as i usually do but the cage isn't destroyed when I jump them. I have to shoot the cage that protects the soldier first and after its broken I can go on as usual. Is there something I'm doing wrong?
That’s surprising because during my eject animation I can see the pilot is armoured but with the punch it breaks the armour straight away and lets me pull them out. It may be a level thing, what power level are you?
What about the COMMANDO AMP VETERAN they are armored and protected? You showed only the Exo and Assault Amps... It doesn't help much when you cannot show how to beat those types or anything
Unfortunately when doing the RDA bases all in stealth it’s rare for me to ever come across one of the Commando variants. For that situation I would take out the easiest targets first and save the commando for last, then hack it and use the shortbow or shotgun depending on which is my powerful in your inventory. If the hack doesn’t last long enough then I’d use a stun grenade. If you watch my shortbow video, you’ll see that it will help a lot with taking down commandos quickly. It has massive damage multipliers
If you’re having a hard time levelling up I recommend doing some lower level side quests to help boost your level up. That way it will be much easier for you. Also have you tried playing cooperatively with someone? It can be a big help Also I can join your world and give you some high level items so it’ll boost your power level up heaps if you like? :)
Injector skill doesn't work on ALL rda mechs, Commander/Elite type mechs are fully invunerable to getting injected. Theres no way to 100 percent hack everything, best to avoids those elite fully armoured mechs i think....Maybe a max damage heavy bow shot with damage buff active hit to the light globe thing ontop of elite rda unit might one hit kill it, but thats probably best to take down away from all other units or when its the last remaining one.
That’s strange because I’ve used it on all mechs I’ve encountered and it had no problems. But I have also noticed that the super elite ones seem to only come when the alarm has been raised so maybe because I’m undetected i never have to face them?
@@KW-de9sc I meant fool proof, stealth play, without alerting everyone..... Besides you don't get them elite rda units until later, like mid game onwards I think.... You probably won't see elite mechs until lvl 14 or 15 and over bases I think....

I couldn’t see any achievement it would directly affect. When allowing the setting it does put a little asterisk next to the setting. But I can’t find any info on what it means. If I find a definite answer I’ll let you know :)
Yeah for the big RDA bases there will be extra loot crates for you in that final room that opens up for you after you complete it. If you are detected then some of the crates will already be open and therefore you can’t loot it and lose whatever it was

You can hack the mech guys early on, but you want to make sure you have the “eject” ancestor skill to fully make the most of it. If you don’t have eject skill then you can still hack them and then aim for the pilot to take down the mech quickly :)

Well, I thought storing a hack on the turret and setting it off when I'm somewhere else would work as a diversion, but the RDA somehow came after me instead. 🙄
Very strange! I always execute the hack immediately on the turrets and I have never once had the RDA alerted from it 🤔 but I make sure I kill the patrols at each turret before I move on

I must admit I love taking out the bases stealthily, but once I realized that I could kill RDA in one patrol area w/ my shotgun and not alert the whole base, it's been much easier (and fiendishly fun). OTOH, it's kind of lame that you can make a lot of noise on one side of a base and not be noticed. As I'm not a really experienced gamer that works to my advantage, but I think if I were a better player I would be disappointed by that.

Haha make sure you have the “eject” ancestor skill. It allows you to pull the pilots out of the AMPs when they are stunned :) I show in the video where to get this skill

@@samsar4507 I would always just stun them with a hack and do one melee button press to trigger the eject animation. I haven’t tried it very much with the stun grenades, so it may be a little different

@@LonerJoe once the AMP is stunned use the Sulfur or flame arrows at the pilot. Or if others aren’t around to hear it you can use the shotgun. It will eliminate the AMPs really quickly
@gusomajic I have 1 sulfur arrow I need for the tower. I killed most of the AMPS today buy the RDA were firing at me from everywhere and called in reinforcements. I'll try again every day. I have a video on my channel that shows the trouble I had last week.

Which armour variety? Because they may have patched it in a recent update. Sometimes the punch won’t instantly pull them out of the elite commandos, but I didn’t have to worry about them because they only came for me if I triggered the alarm
Tagging enemies is when you hover your aimer or cursor on an enemy and you see the little downward facing white arrow appear above them. If an enemy is tagged like this it will help you know where they are (even when they are on the other side of objects) and it’ll allow you to do more damage to them. I hope this clears it up :)

I have the exact same thing happening but I also had them phasing through my arrows and it alerted the entire base

Storing the hacks becomes handy if you want to take out several mechs in one go (e.g. when they have crossing pathes).

I downgraded my gear and so far I encountered no more advanced amps. seems like that does the trick 😅

I'm level 6 very very slowly, and can't even pass level 5 RDA sites. Game is impossible to level up.

Yeah i was power level 3 and me and a friend took out a level 12 area hacking everything.

Does changing the hack setting to auto affect achievements?
I couldn’t see any achievement it would directly affect. When allowing the setting it does put a little asterisk next to the setting. But I can’t find any info on what it means.

You can hack the mech guys early on, but you want to make sure you have the “eject” ancestor skill to fully make the most of it. If you don’t have eject skill then you can still hack them and then aim for the pilot to take down the mech quickly :)

I didn't know turrets could be hacked
It’s very helpful, that way you can take them down with no noise to alert the RDA base

Either the skill doesn’t always work or the game glitched, cause i threw down two stuns on the same mech and it wouldn’t let me yank it out.

Im trying to get past the pneumatic tower echo quest. I cant yet get near the home tree to umlock skills. Its so frustrating.
