I remember being at a show of his, and he performed the exact same segment with random members of the audience. My father was one of the chosen volunteers and he was asked to write a sentence on the board for him to respond to. He wrote "Sir, you are really great. Thank you." and before he could even finish, PC Sorcar Jr.'s answer was already typed out as "My father was better". What a legend!

He is not only a great magician but also a exceptionally good stage performer and actor. His presentation was mesmerizing. He is a great comedian too. He can divert your mind and eyes to whatever he wants to. He controls your mind. I specially remember one magic where he made a deliberate mistake and everyone was looking at the mistake thinking the magic trick is revealed and in then actual magic happens stunning everyone. He was laughing and we were laughing thinking that how easily we all are fooled. He even showed us one trick that how it is actually done behind the scene. Truly great person.

When the train finally stopped at the station, he came out and told everyone to look at their watch and by everyone's surprise, the train was on time! People he brought on stage would have already rehearsed with him and be a part of his act... That's what's logical about what he does with the math calculating the sum beforehand. But that takes skill to draw and write properly. He might still have gaps near his nostrils, even with the dough and would cover them up later when he is about to end his act.

@iamCGM exactly. The trick is definitely sumn else. A lot to do with hearing i guess. We had the privilege of witnessing his performance a multiple times here in Bengal and each time, he did this particular trick with random audience. My brother once went up to the stage and gave him a letter on the board. It used to be amazing tbh. To watch him perform live will always be a blessing.

He arrived and said, "Had to rush, just on time". People were shouting and telling him that he was late. He said, "Late ? Check your watches". People saw that the time was 7 pm sharp. Actually the time was around 7:40. What a charismatic way to start a show !

His father PC Sarkar ( Pratul Chandra Sarkar) who was conferred the title of world's greatest magician by the Japanese was performing on stage in Tokyo and died while performing of a massive heart attack. PC Sarkar junior( Pradip Chandra Sarkar): had to continue with the show since there was a signed contract with the Japanese.
